Michael Giacchino is becoming the king of scoring modern comic-book movies and I am here for it.
I LOVE that it’s not going dark. This feels very in tone with the comics. Vibrant colors and a touch of camp.

I think, I have to take myself to the movie theatre to watch this movie. I´m just 60 years young, but I read all the comics in the 70´s and it seems, this version will be the winner.
You may not read comics any more, but the present, Ryan North run is…FANTASTIC??? It really is. He’s found new spins on their powers, and kept the family’ aspect.

Very evident by the fact that we see Ben in his rock form, watching an old tv recording of him when he wasn’t in rock form. Like, use your brain, bud.

For everyone asking why Galactus is tiny. It's because he have another power called "Size Alteration" meaning that he can change size of himself.

@@jtbacca2392 Fan4stic was proof of that. Even the films Director Josh Trank on the eve of it’s Premier publicly denounce the film saying this was the studios film not his. Fox made the film just so they can retain the rights of the fantastic four keeping the IP from going back to Marvel (pre Disney buy) which would’ve happened 10 years ago.

There'll still be jokes in the film for sure but it shouldn't cut off emotional moments and should be placed at the right moments. The CGI's looking good too which is great seeing as this film did not undergo many rewrites and reshoots. Count me excited and optimistic. Let's go!

Oh, that cloud! I was so furious. Even worse were all the people saying that the fanboys should shut up, because filmgoers would never accept a "giant purple robot". That he HAD to be a cloud. I like that Matt Shakman the director is going for the same vibe as he did for WandaVision just not so much back in time and in a little bit different way. Kinda liking that old school vibe

It's like when Sir Launcelot would show up in battle, even though King Arthur had plenty of highly capable knights and companions. There's something to be said about being first among equals.

A deceased family member of mine loved Marvel in general but the Fantastic Four was always one of his favorites. I'll be sure to watch this in theaters in memory of him.

@MattyDEditsIts not 616 (MCU) but also may be set in the present of their earth, just one thats retro futuristic. Assumedly they will end up in 616 at some point.
Stan Lee regarded the Fantastic Four as his greatest creation and often expressed his wish that he had lived to see a film adaptation that truly captured or even surpassed the brilliance of the original comics. Now that he's gone I still hope that marvel at least finally did it with this one, fingers crossed.
I love the 60s aesthetics, regrettably, I won't be watching this either way, because movies today suck.

i think it’s so cool that one of the scores michael giacchino did that made him so popular was for the incredibles movie, which was obviously based on the fantastic 4….and now he’s doing the score for THE fantastic 4 movie we’ve all been waiting for. full circle at its finest.

One of his first major compositions was for the PS1/Saturn game of The Lost World: Jurassic Park which was incredible and been a fan of him ever since.

@@tacocats2244 My biggest argument is this is that many movies people think aren't "superhero" movies are. People enjoy films which have characters who are far more competent than most people are in real life whether that be stronger, deadlier, funnier or more charming. John Wick 4 did amazing despite superhero fatigue even though his abilities classify him as superhuman.
That’s always been the fatigue killer. Too many great stories from the comics that can be adapted on the big screen.
I disagree there. "Like the comics" could mean anything good and anything bad. There's LOTS of trash among comic stories and ideas.

Is anyone glad that Galactus isn't just a "Universal Cloud" like he was in the other Universe (Old Movie) in space, or is it just me? FINALLY Galactus looks exactly the way he does in comics. This will be interesting to see being pulled off.

@@MyDailyRoutineethat, but, when Silver Surfer flies within the cloud you can see a clear silhouette of Galactus. I feel like they were trying to treat the cloud as if it was Galactus’s “mothership” kinda thing and he was just within it. But, you see him plain as day inside of it. Just…not him entirely lol.
I'm not even a big comic fan, but I am stoked for this. It evoked a giddiness and awe that I haven't felt from the MCU for awhile.

Holy Galactus! I'm finally excited to see a Marvel movie once again
In a physical, comic accurate form. Not the storm.
I think the biggest thing is the movies and shows coming soon feel like they are actually LEADING to something for the first time in a while. Cap 4 setting up the avengers return, DD setting up a side arc regarding fisk being mayor likely to have some impact on spidey 4s plot, Thunderbolts just looking like a fun time, and This movie actually setting the scene for doomsday as presumably the doom in the avengers movie will likely be the doom in this universe. Marvel feels like its starting to get back on its feet again with actual setup for a payoff.
Galactus turns into a cloud in the first 30 seconds of the movie. Yeah, that's terrible, but the worst part is that he then turns yellow and calls himself "Parallax".
Well we know what they did to the last Mr fantastic in MoM.

The earliest piece of Marvel media I remember seeing was the Fantastic 4 ‘94 animated series. I used to get up in the middle of the night every night to watch it. Now I get to see them on the screen once again. Thank you, Marvel, for doing them justice!

marvel has sucked recently, and this won't be the second coming of deadpool 3, but after the last 2 fantastic 4 movie continuities sucked, this really looks like 3rd time's the charm...hopefully.
