I first attempted this beanie in Nov 2023 as a total beginner crocheter - 1 month into learning it- and I messed up and it was wonky so I put it aside. I just unraveled some of it today and redid the wonky part and fixed it. It looks fantastic and I am wearing it now and I’m so excited that it’s fixed! Thanks for the tutorial Mel. Your channel is an asset to crocheters ❤️

I made this hat and I love it! I did make a ribbing rather then the slip stitch boarder and used double strand 4 ply. But Thank -you ! I will be doing a few of these for our local shelter cuz they are wonderfully warm

Cute hat!! Some sugar....You could have worked in the back loop of your chain to get the same nice look and then you wouldn't have needed the extra yarn. Also when you do a pull together finish like that you don't need much yarn, simply sinch as you go. Hope that helps 😊

I really wish you hadn't sped up the video when you started the second round where you go between the stitches instead of the usual V. It's really hard to see the right way to do this.
