In today's tutorial we'll be making the Easy Breezy Ribbed Beanie!
This pattern is beginner friendly and works up quickly!
Check the chart in the video for all the size information, the pattern includes 8 sizes but you can adjust it to make ANY size!
Supplies Needed: (affiliate links)
● Medium (4) Weight Yarn ( amzn.to/3gGZMJj )
● 5.50 mm (I) Hook - ( amzn.to/36tZi82 )
● Yarn Needle ( amzn.to/3hCpz6J )

Gauge: 16 STs x 9 Rows = 4 x 4 in HDC BLO
Adjust hook size up or down to meet gauge

Hi! i actually needed to fulfill a certain amount of volunteer hours for a school award, and one of the ways to get your hours was making things for the less fortunate or helping others in a way like making beanies for cancer patients. I decided to find an organization like knots of love and mail them my beanies. it was a very fun process and i loved every part of it.

I'm just starting to learn how to crochet, so I was looking for tutorials. By the time you started, my mind was already spinning LOL it looks hard. But I will not give up!
Don't give up it does get easier. I learned as a kid by my grandma, she was a great teacher. I'm 60 now and you never forget.
I learned when I was a kid to make a chain. By 16, I learned only a few stitches. I’m 35 and just now making this beanie. Lol thank God so many people are having babies in my family! Don’t give up! It gets better and easier once you know basics and what hooks to use for which yarn etc. the hardest part is learning the abbreviations. You got this !

How long does it take you to finish one beanie?
I'm crocheting it by looking at your pattern because I wanna learn how to read them. I'm so hyped that I can understand and make my bright yellow beanie. I might even add a few colored stripes to make it randomly cute and unique!

It has been a long time since I crocheted anything. I am a senior, senior citizen a nd needed something else to do besides play games on my computer. I decided to try my jand at crocheting . I made this hat and am so proud of how it came out. It was easier than I thought, the directions were so clear. I made two. Thank you. I will be making other hats, a chunky one is next. Thanks again.
