Can Silver Sneakers make a video of a seated version of cardio workout for those whose legs don’t function or those whose balance can’t achieve these movements?

This is a fantastic new video. It is great when you tell us toe, ball, heel, such a help.
You are an excellent trainer, and I really appreciate how you help us. Your hair looks beautiful, as you are.

That is a great cardio workout, which, at the moment, I am finding challenging, but I will add it to my routine and fingers crossed it will become easier, thankyou.

Another excellent calorie-burning workout. Yay!!! I've been doing Silver Sneakers for more than 2 years and love it. I string together 3 or 4 cardio workouts (my FitBit must say that I've expended at least 300 cal) followed by stretching 4 days a week. One day a week I do my own free weights training followed by an SS HIIT workout and stretching. One day a week I do an SS weight training followed by a HIIT workout and stretching. On Sunday, I do SS yoga or tai chi. In addition the "before bed" stretching programs have really helped my sleep, and on those days when I don't have to hit the floor running, the "wakeup" stretching programs are a great way to ease into the day. The trainers are excellent and very encouraging. Thanks so much for making fitness fun!!!

I'm a 60 yr. old ertified fitness and personal trainer with over 25 years of experience. I recommend doing a lot of research on what shoes are right for you. It all depends on your foot and your gait. There are many sporting goods or running shoe stores that will do a free gait analysis to find out if you are a neutral walker or pronate or supinate. Do you have a wide or narrow foot? Do you have high arches, neutral or flat feet? All of these factors play into what kind of shoe is best for you (i.e., stability, neutral, etc.). I have high arches, wide feet and pronate and have worn custom orthotics from a podiatrist for years because I suffered from plantar fasciitis for years. For a long time, I wore Brooks Adrenaline. But they changed it this year and it does not work for me anymore. I switched to Asics Gel Excite and they have worked well for me. Ryka makes a shoe with a narrow heel and big toe box specifically for women. Sketchers is making better walking shoes now as well. Shoes are VERY important. And you need to get new ones often depending on how much you walk because they break down. If you walk 3-4 hours per week, change them every 6 months. For up to 6-8 hours per week, every 3 months.
If you are unsure, the best place to start is a full service running shoe store (even if you are a walker only) if you have one within driving distance. You can do an internet search for running stores near me and then find out of they have gait analysis. Even if they don't, if it is a good store, they will help you find a shoe that works for your foot. I hope this helps. I know it's a lot of information.
