K listen, I truly love you. You make my days MUCH better when there are new videos. I switched over to really taking care of my gym stuff about two years ago. Made the BIGGEST difference. SO last week, My sweet husband did alllll of our gym laundry. ❤️ And alas, did not know not to wash on hot and dry them. ALL OF MY GYM-SHARKS WERE IN THERE. And pretty much all my fav pairs of leggings. 😅😩🙃 I told him next time he’s doing laundry, and he sees a pair of my “Hot pants” as he calls them, to hang dry them. He now refuses to dry any of his gym clothes. SO NOW We have gym clothes EVERYWHERE. Bannister is the MVP for drying. 😂 at least my house smells like fresh laundry every day. Excellent topic!!! I use Tide sport odor defense (2/3rds) and Fabreze Odor Eliminator (1/3rd) on “active wear” setting on our Samsung front loader. Haven’t used softener in ten years when I realized how bad it is for workout wear and the environment- we have six of the rubber laundry balls in the dryer.

You can still hang tops with a narrow neck. Just thred the hanger up through the bottom and catch the hook at the neck and adjust the shoulders. That’s how you hang turtle necks too. Tip I learned from my mom and was reminded of working retail :).

I still don’t know the difference between ‘cold’ and ‘tap cold’ but I’ll start using ‘tap cold’ for my gym clothes... also guilty for using fabric soften on my gym clothes too... but it’s because I feel like I have to rid the gym smell. 100% trying this detergent. I have a pair of gymshark leggings that has the logo peeling off and I always wash my gym separately and inside out also never put them in the dryer im really bummed

Just a tip! Spray N Wash is amazing for shoes, especially white ones. You can get it at pretty much any type of grocery store, you spray it on your shoes and leave it for 5 minutes and throw it in the washer, let them air dry after. Works for any colors I’ve been using it for years on every colored/white shoe I have. Really makes them look brand new! ❤️

Fabric softener can reduce the absorbency of towels! Try every other wash if you notice issues :)

I use one of those two-tier rolling garment racks from Walmart ($14) and hang all my wet gym clothes on hangers straight out of the dryer
I have use Hex and I love Hex!!! I turn my clothes inside out, I don't use fabric softener and I use Cold water too for my clothes.
