All my sunglasses that have broke have been designer. Tom Ford, Gucci, YSL. I even took extra care of these as compared to my more affordable ones. My Ray-bans have last through multiple drops and being tossed in bags.

i believe that Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag is by far the most durable, care-free bag that I've had (5 years and still looks great). I agree with just owning one pair of very good sunglasses rather than a whole bunch of them.

I have a large le pliage for almost 5 years serve as work bag and as a travel tote. Love it's functionality and affordability. agree with investing in a high quality sunglasses that fits your personal style.. They last a long time and elevates your look easily.

@Kjerstan No, wrong. if she wants to present a personality, she could do a different video on that subject alone. Other YT- bers have done this. Far the more professional approach than combining the two and making the whole video amateurish.
I didn't even notice the intro. I like hearing your thoughts on the topic before going into it. Maybe include a timestamp for people who want to skip straight into it, otherwise people like me don't care and will watch the whole thing ☺

I would think for the bag category, if I were to just get one, I just want a Chanel classic flap. I don’t need anything else. Totes, small crossbody, can be lower end bags for how I use them.. everyone is different I Guess. Great video btw ! 👍🏻

Hello Geek! Congratulations on your channel. I had spent my whole sunday binge watching your videos. Even if I don't agree with everything you say, I think you do offer another interesting perspective on fashion.
Yeah, you are right: 20 years ago, shopping was far much simpler. There were no social medias and no online shopping: our references were fashion magazines, movies or TV... We did also have less offers, less promotions and hence got less tempted on a daily basis. However, everything seemed to be at least 5 times cheaper than what it is now. It is crazy when I think about how much I paid for a classic flap or a birkin back then!

I agree and i would add, specially for shoes, buy preloved you will save a ton of money. For a starter i agree going for saint laurent bags because their quality is very good and price tag more reasonable although i do love my neverful.

I would highly recommend the Fendi by the way in black or beige. So versatile and modest. I use my beige one all the time. It is a utilitarian design and not full of logos; only one small logo and the back and front of the bag are identical so just turn it around and you have a simple, beautiful, handbag😊

I hoped for a few handbag/croos body bag options.. Not everyone is a tote person.
The idea in this video was to show only one bag. But I also have video about bags under 1000€ where I mention a couple of crossbody bags. I personally love the Céline Trio as a staple and classic 💓
I agree with Chanel but I’m just not a tote lady. I think for a first time great investment for price is Aspinal if London. Much more affordable and great customer service. I’m from the USA and not associated with Aspinal but they are also timeless and much more affordable. I’m a scarf lover as well!

the geek is chic - some reviews gave them poor customer service but you know how it goes...rarely do the happy customers give reviews only grumpy ones. Harrods carries this brand and shipping is great if you don’t want to buy direct. Usually can save on the costs. I have not been disappointed with the quality of Aspinal of London.

I wouldn't buy a Louis Vutton bag, they are outdated and there are a lot of cheap fakes.
I’m planning on saving for the Givenchy Antigona in black, I am very hesitant to wear anything luxury to work but do you think I could get away with it due to the logo not being so in your face and it being quiet understated in design. Opinions?

What if you have to buy something to fit a situation full of wealth people? What to buy?
Do you mean a formal occasion where you are surrounded by wealthy people? That’s a brilliant question for Anna from @schoolofaffluence 😅Anyway, I would opt for a dress with a simple, classic cut in black or a light creme colour, not too short. Pointy toe heels but not too high (under 10cm) and a discrete clutch leather clutch. If you can go for a designer bag I would go for a Chanel /Dior WOC. Shoes & bag in same colour and also either Creme/champagne/ silver or black💓

IF you have to save for a LONG time to buy any luxury good like a bag/shoes/sunglasses than you are not on the right financial level to own these items instead you should use all that cash and invest in assets. Kind of disappointed to hear you encourage people/girls to save and lust after things that they can't afford. Going back to your video about the chanel bag - given your views that you have expressed you shouldn't be mad or disappointed that your chanel bag is no longer a sign of exclusivity because every waitress in town saves for a LONG LONG time just to buy one and/or a ton of fakes on the market - find other ways to show the world that you are wealthy - also your videos are WAY too verbose
I do not tell anyone what they „should“ do and I honestly think it is up to the individual how they like to save and spend their money. Obviously this channel is about fashion and I would digress if I would start giving financial life advise. I do get that life is more complex than figuring out how to buy fashion but this is just the motto of this channel. Fashion magazines don’t talk about the stock market either. I also never mentioned waitresses and or anyone specific that I have any problems with so that is just not an objective basis to have this discussion.

Hi Woofie, thank you for your input. I already improved on that since I uploaded this video in summer 2019 and shortened my intros a lot.
