I've been wanting to see your advices and taste on summer shoes 😊 My favorite summer shoes are the J'adior flat slingbacks that I recently bought, but I still have on my mind the Chanel ones. I would love to watch a comparison video between the Chanel and the Dior slingbacks. My favorite sneakers are still Golden Goose. I now own several pairs of them and I keep buying them as they are so chic and comfortable, plus they are made in Italy and for me right now that's a plus more than ever. I have been looking at the Gucci loafers, so I might go and try them on one of these days. Now, that stores are finally open again I will definetly take my time to window shop and shop in person instead of on line which is surely more fun! 😊 Ciao Bella 🤗

My favorites are Gucci loafers with collapsible back. I own 2 of them. They are so comfortable I wore them during my travel through Scandinavian countries. No problem walking on the cobblestones in Stockholm, Sweden
I love them all. I’ve recently started an obsession with luxury shoes and my first purchase was the Gucci BrIxton loafers. I’m thinking about the Valentino jelly sandals and possibly a pair of the Gucci Ace sneakers. I will watch any luxury shoe video. Thanks for sharing.😊❤️🙏

Great video Evelyn! Love your recommendations - I own some of the shoes you've recommended more specifically the Chanel and Dior slingbacks as well as the Valentino sandals that you love so much! I agree the sandals are a great summer shoes however very finnicky to put on. I would recommend getting the Loro Piana Summer Charms Walk shoes. They are THE most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I thought that the Chanel espadrilles were super comfy but the Loro Piana takes comfort, elegance and quality to a whole new level. It feels like walking on butter! They are my absolute favourite pair - though very pricey, I think they are one of those forever shoes. :)

My God, this video was just the thing I wanted.. 🤤 for this summer I got the Church’s Dee Dee mules in white on sale, they’re beautiful. And I have the Gucci Princetown mules in black next on my list. If I had to choose sneakers, they would for sure be Chanel 🤍

Okay, you sold me on the Hermes slides. I wasn’t sure how to style them, or how to walk in them without dragging the heels. But now I have ideas popping into my head of how to style them, I might just have to add them to my shopping list.

I have to agree with the craftsmanship and quality of Gucci shoes. As much as I love my Valentino Rockstuds and Tango's, Chanel ballerinas, Dolce&Gabbana and Manolo Blahnik pumps, I have to say - hands down - my favourite pair are my Gucci Jordaan loafers - they're super comfy, fit like gloves yet feel luxurious on my feet! I even wear them like I do with my sneakers (for running errands, picking up kids, etc.) and have been wearing them for years! I just had to re-sole them to keep them from falling apart but they're pretty sturdy, considering how often I wear them. Now because of this (and another vlogger who raves about her Princetown), I think I'll consider getting a pair in white/beige for summer!

My Gucci loafers are extremely comfortable. I attribute it to the quality leather. I find the same with most my Italian leather shoes. Ferragamo is such a luxury shoe well made and extremely comfortable.

Awesome collection! I have many of the same shoes, and switched from Chanel slides to those Hermes ones in tan and in white. Can't wait to wear them. I also have beige Chanel espadrilles but really like your black YSL ones. I am also considering switching from Manola slingbacks to the Chanel slingbacks because of the square heel. I do think Gucci has the best loafers but would recommend Tods loafers as well. Incidentally, my husband tells me I put Imelda Marcus to shame. This man has around 8 pairs of Gucci and Tods loafers, which I'm always tripping over.
Yes you are right, Tod´s are absolute classics as well!
Hahaha, I know it's a hyperbole but the reality is I have yet to meet or hear about someone who could beat Imelda Marcos' 3,000-pair designer shoe collection! After all, 'Imeldific' wasn't coined to describe someone less vulgarly extravagant as her. (Incidentally, she is my sister-in-law's aunt. Too bad, we don't have the same shoe size! LOL)
I 100% agree with you on the Gucci Loafer. With or without the back, they are definitely worth the purchase. They are so comfortable, and like you said you can walk all over in them.

Yes, I usually take my leather shoes to the shoe maker and let them attach a protective rubber sole.
Would love to see your entire shoe collection! I, too am a shoe fanatic. I love the J’adior slingbacks (I’m wearing them on my wedding day) but agree the Chanel ones are more comfortable. Love the Gucci Princetown mules. I have a pair in the Tian pattern and a black pair with the fur but if I’m being honest I regret purchasing the fur Princetowns now. They’re not that cool anymore....... What do you think of the Dior espadrilles in blue oblique?
I don´t love the Oblique Dior expadrilles personally, because there is jus too much going on with the monogram, the logo and the structure of the straw.

I always impregnate my shoes, after wearing them I stuff them with tissue paper and let them „cool out“ for 12 hours, then I put them back in the box:) I also do regular clean them, treat them with nourishing creams and polished, depending on the material 😅💓

Both are comfy but of course, a flat shoe will always be easier to walk in, especially for a longer period of time.💖

I have the Chanel and Dior slingbacks...the Hermès...and lots more Chanel pumps and Espedrilles . Problem is, I haven’t worn them all spring and summer...it’s sad, isn’t it.

Unfortunately, Hermès doesn’t have the Oran sandal in my size in the color I like, but they do have the Oasis sandal in it. What are your thoughts on the Oasis in the Gold Piqûres Écrues?

I they do run a little bit narrow, so I got them in a 39,5 and they are perfect.
I have a pair and would go 1/2 to 1 size down if you have narrow feet.

I personally think they hold up great but it always depends on how one takes care of their shoes. Regarding tue sizing, I do go up half a size in the Princetowns and half a size down in the Jordan’s 💓

Chanel has 2 different sole "fits". If you are in the store, make sure that they get you a wider/ regular sole. The slimm soles are marked with a "C" next zu the size stamp on the buttom sole.💖

I was hesitating buying the gucci loafers but I was scared they would making this clicking sound while walking, making it not appropriate for the office... What is your experience? Yes, I love to wear them with all sorts of dresses and skirts, I love that combo. I also wear them to the office but the dress code at my firm is quite "business casual" so I do get away ith more trendy outfits in general. I am working on more outfit ideas and posts here and over on my Insta!

It is not adjustable but it holds great!
How do you keep your Jadore Dior sneakers clean? It's not something you can throw into the washing machine LOL!

I think it depends on the shoe..
would you say chanel espadrilles or ysl are more comfortable?
I haven´t had the chance to wear my Chanels enough to make a judgement yet, however I find that it is a huge plus that the YSL espadrilles come in half sizes, where as the Chanels only come in full sizes which can be a challenging when you are in between two sizes. Also I feel like the YSLs are less stiff and softer.
This was very enlightening, I had no idea how to consider something other than a basic little no name shoe
Have to say, the Chanel slingbacks are extreeeeeeeeemely narrow, so they won’t be comfortable for anyone who doesn’t have a narrow foot. Also, I find them very unflattering-the toe box is cut very shallow which, along with the narrowness, makes it look like my foot is squeezed into them. These are the only shoes I have that look so
weird. Nice if they happen to work for your foot shape, but not one I’d recommend because of the strange fit.
