I love acne scarves over a withe bottom down or also a turtle neck looks very chic.
I agree so much on materials ! Last year I updated to cachemire sweaters. Now I am looking to silk blouses and camisole.
For accessories, I would like an Hermes belt (reversible) to keep for years, I am waiting them to make a nice understated buckle (I will not go for the classic H) !

I love your video and I totally agree that these items will instantly upgrade your wardrobe. I love beautiful scarves. I have seen them priced a little over the moon but they are beautiful. Shoes do upgrade the outfit and a great belt always looks good. I cannot see spending over a hundred and fifty dollars on these things. Shoes, I would spend a little more on if they checked all the bells and whistles for me. They must be comfortable to wear. I have wide feet and high arches. They must have arch support. I just bought several pair of nice stylish shoes and all together they totaled around seven hundred dollars. I think that having good jewelry, nice investment pieces, simple pieces, is the way to go. I believe lifestyle will dictate your wardrobe. For someone who just recently retired and who lives in a rural community, there are not many places to really dress but one can always make an occasion to dress stylishly. Even a trip to the grocery store can be an adventure to go with a simple upgraded style. With just nice shoes, Jeans and a nice top and a beautiful jacket or a scarf one would feel like a queen. There are tons of websites that offer many of these items at a discounted price. So there is really no reason to not pick up a piece or two when the opportunity knocks.
My life exactly! I could have written that! I love beautiful scarves, belts etc and try to shop second hand for good quality.Even if I had the money I would stay away from designer logos, designers initials etc they look tacky and "show off".

I have long hair & clips & barrettes help make a simple hair style statement, when I do this I don’t wear other jewelry around my neck but do wear ear studs & a watch.🙏🏽❤️

I always struggle with integrating belts (designer or non designer) with my outfits. I tend not to wear many logo belts as i find it will clash with a designer handbag I'm wearing. Shoes are great - especially casual sneakers or loafers. They are so easy to get a lot of use out of. I haven't explored designer scarves yet. I live in Canada and it gets very cold here with lots of precipitation. I like my winter wear to have some waterproofing to it. I do have a collection of very nice 100% wool scarves from a brand called Aritzia that are nice to wear. I do own an LV monogram shawl but never seem to wear it since I feel like the logos are too loud if I'm wearing a designer bag. I would like to own a Dior scarf!
I love my Chanel woc - these styles of bags are so versatile. You can take them from casual to dressy very easily! Great for running errands, going shopping, going for a walk or to the park.
Jewellery is also a great investment into your wardrobe. Something that is solid gold or silver that you can wear everyday and not take off. Sunglasses are also valuable. Especially in the winter when you're driving in the snow. I've only realized the benefits of polarized sunglasses and it's a game changer.
I am curious about your shoe recommendations. I live in the US PNW and it rains here - a lot. I’ve been lusting after loafers or other workwear-meets-casual shoes.
Mónika H. I’m not sure if your asking Evelyn or myself. But I highly recommend loafers. I live in Toronto and when fall and winter roll around, we do get precipitation. In winters we need boots. But for that time when it’s cold and rainy, I really have been enjoying my Louis Vuitton monogram canvas loafers.i have a style called “upper case loafers” from 2 years ago. They don’t have the gold buckle that they have now. Instead mine have a black leather strap which makes it neutral. These are designer shoes that I’m not worried about and I get a ton of compliments!
If you like a wallet on a chain check out mackage. Not designer per say, but very nice quality. I love mine, so unique.

Hello Evelyn, I agree with your ideas and I have actually been thinking about selling a couple of items that I no longer use, such as the Dior "CD" logo belt. My birthday is coming up soon and I have been working on a wishlist for the best gift to myself. For sure I know it is going to be from Dior ❤️ I was thinking about a nice scarf or a pair of walk in Dior, I am also in love with a couple of earrings even though I know they are costume jewelry and that they are not really worth the price.I totally agree with you when it comes to natural and luxe fibers such as silk, cashmere and linen as they do make a difference in an outfit. My gold jewelry was either inherited from the family, or receivied as a gift so it has a sentimental value. Mein erstes Designer Stück war ein McQueen Tuch ( nein nicht die Toten Köpfe) und damit fing das Drama an .... zu viele Tücher bzw Schals fanden seitdem den Weg 🙈 Aktuell überlege ich den Loewe karierten Jacquard Anagram zu meiner Kollektion hinzuzufügen. The problem with the shoe over the bag is it doesn't hold the value, first time you use is not brand new like a bag you can have new for years!

Also some of us really struggle with practicalities like the climate (hello rain all year round) or walking in cities with pebble stones...and have to take that into consideration for shoes.
