Thank you for this video. I like it. Maybe this is not the topic, but I must tell. Luxury used to be a synonym for quality. But at some point over the last 10-15 years, things changed. Luxury fashion has always been expensive. But today is not only expensive, it is very often much much overpriced. Prices have gone up, but the quality has come down. I know this from my personal experience. Ten years ago I was able to justify spending money for luxury fashion because there was rally something more in the product of luxury brand. There was quality and craftsmanship that you can see and feel. Today is much harder to find product of such a features as many luxury branded items are actually very average. As the idea of best quality and best artisan technique of production does not exist any more as leading idea of luxury brands, I decided to respond on this with my decisions. I do not buy any product from luxury brand which does not meet my requirements of how luxury item must look like, no matter how popular and how wanted the item is. And my list of designers items not worth my money is longer than the list of items which are worth to invest. I think it is my responsibility to react on overpricing and diminish of quality and not to cooperate in this phenomena.

Happy Birthday! I do love linen and silk for warm weather. Very nice summer choices and I appreciate your listing the links to the items. My favorite T shirt seems to be a one of a kind and fits me perfectly. It is black, well made and has an embroidered small flower on the front. I have had it so very long that the tag has become white. I bought it at a seaside boutique many years ago.

I love your videos with all your great ideas. I also love your taste. I like Zimmermann but it is so pricy lately that I am liking American designer Ulla Johnson Bohemian looks whose price is less. Do you know any designers that do eyelet clothing like the ones you see in Italy? Also, I like brownish/rust colored gauzy linens or gauzy grecian midi dresses to wear in the Caribbean but have a hard time finding them. I've checked the web but have a hard time finding the things I want in natural fabrics.
What comes to my mind are brands like: Mara Hoffman, Lisa Marie Fernandez, Charo Ruiz, Loveshackfancy (but very playful) amd sometimes Self Portrait and Ganni. Hope that gives you some inspiration:)

Mine is from last summer season so I am sure it is a little different and there are variations that come I silk or linen.

I agree! I rather invest the money is something that will give me financial freedom. I do like to see what she recommends and then I try to thrift a similar item. I save SOOOO much money that way. I bought a blazer similar to hers but in linen and paid $10 and I love it!

Zimmerman quality is so overrated.
I have had dresses for years and the quality is superb.
The prices seem cheaper in Australia...that I feel fortunate for to be able to buy a blouse for under €100
Sorry but I don’t think designer t shirts are that much of a nicer quality from my personal experience, at least for the price point. I’ve had many mid-range tees (under $100) to even H&M men’s tees hold up better than my designer t-shirts. The cost per wear for designer t-shirts just isn’t there the way it is for bags and shoes. I would much rather invest in other pieces where I’m not exclusively paying for the logo on the front and rather the actual quality in terms of cost per wear
