They were half off, and I've wanted their Grace bag for a year. I love that they still plate their hardware in gold since Chanel quit. I think you might like their box structure, but they have fun colors. The masculine and feminine qualities feel balanced. Actually, they have a pebbled leather white bag! I just put photos on instagram because Mark Cross seriously does not get enough attention! I agree, I love white and gold. I took the plunge and bought two (now three...) for the same reason/math - and don’t regret it one single bit. (They were my first Hermès purchases.) I now have a belt that matches everything in my wardrobe. I went with the non-H buckles because I wanted something more understated and less ‘logo’.

Regarding Veronica Beard, I find the quality a bit low for the price (I have just seen a blazer from them so not sure about the dresses) but the dress you've linked looks great and the colour is amazing. I had a friend who was a SA at the Dior Boutique here in Brussels during the 1st saddle bag hype in the early 2000s. I remember her telling me about complains from customers who had had color transfer issues with a particular white saddle model. Now I think quality has much improved at Dior over the years (their accessories business at the time wasn't as important as it is now) and as you said the right type of leather might be more forgiving. But it is sure something to consider when thinking about buying a white bag. So, it's a good thing that you warned your viewers about it :-)

I have one and I just love it because it looks and feels so luxurious, while still being very understated. The serpent head closure is like jewelry, and the bag is just so well made. Great video...I debated the white saddle but ended up buying the oblique with the embroidered Christian Dior on it...love the saddle bag way more than I thought I would. The Bobby bag in white is also a stunner and you can wear your guitar strap with it as well.

I have the saddle in both the nude color that you have and the white that you are thinking about and the white saddle is my most used bag out of all of my hadbags, it works with the tailored minimalist style that you wear a lot of and will go ever so beautifully with the summer dresses that you are investing in and the beautiful Zimmermann pieces which is what I often wear it with. Have you considered the new Bobby bag by Dior as that would give a similar vibe as the saddle I believe, though I haven’t seen it in person 🤷🏼♀️😊
