Hey, speaking as a U.S. citizen, I have been through Canada many times. Mainly through British Columbia and the Yukon. You should be proud to be a Canadian because some of the finest people I have met are Canadians. These three are just examples of the people you meet in your great country
I love all their songs and songs like Tome Sawyer and Limelight may have topped the mainstream charts but this song is my favorite from Rush. The beginning intro always gets me sicked up before a football game.
I love that song “Diane Sawyer”. Me and Ricky. “Hey, play ‘I Like To Rock”. Alex: “That’s April Wine”. Ricky: “Then play that ‘Diane Sawyer’ song. Fucking play something, that’s what you’re here for”. When Ricky kidnaps Alex on that episode of “Trailer Park Boys” is one of the funniest skits EVER!
The look on The Professors face at Geddy at the 5;00 mark to the end of the song is really priceless..complete control to park this masterpiece on the ground..perfect..there will never be another band like this or The professor..please rest easy..you are missed..
This tour I had the privilege to guest, in Stockholm. A killer performance, as always. Been in love [well] with the Toronto guys since 1977... I won't comment on Geddys jawdropping performance (oops I did): Master class speaks for itself. Certain songs almost make me cry... embarrassing in public places, but, what the hey - better tears in my eyes than the sleep still in my eyes, no matter what my dream might be...'
Maybe not the best for rush standards but an amazing album nonetheless. If another artist were to release T4E, it would be a really good album, it was criticised since it was compared to their golden age.
About 10 years ago I got a tortoiseshell pickgaurd for my geddy lee bass so it looks just like the one for this song. To this day I still keep it on my bass. Looks better than the white pickgaurd in my opinion.
These gentlemen make me very proud to be Canadian!!!!

One of so many reasons!
This groove is not for mere mortals. One of their absolute masterpeices.
Yes you said that correct
Geddy's bass solo is as badass as can be. I LOVE this song and especially live.
Geddy just kills it on the bass.. Got to love it.
Rest in peace master Neil Peart you were an inspiration, a virtuoso, a genuis.... I'll love you forever...
One of my most favorite songs ever !!!! I called much tv back in the 90’s and was live on tv and requested the Driven video and they played it !!!!
3 virtuoso musicians playing together at one time. Awesome.
I love all their songs and songs like Tome Sawyer and Limelight may have topped the mainstream charts but this song is my favorite from Rush. The beginning intro always gets me sicked up before a football game.
Fuck I love tome sawyer.
@@hihi2667 hahahahaha

This song deserves more praises... such a cool riff. The structure seems simple yet not really.
Neil... yet another masterwork. Thank you. RIP
The riff reminds me of early Rush
"The structure seems simple, yet really not"
#all Rush songs
seen them 5 times.took the woman I love to all 5 shows.shes gone now so I wouldn't go without her
Attention all aspiring musicians, class is in session
They took a great studio tune and amplified it by a million! Everytime I go back and listen, Im reminded how good they’ve always been!
Just an amazingly tight band. I guess that’s what happens when you work at it for decades...
gflyer45 They were born tight in the 60’s! Those guys are extremely gifted musicians. Aliens!
RIP Neil 💔 😢
I just realised that the main riff is supposed to sound like a car engine!!
Wow... I never noticed that holy shit
There's nothing quite like the sound of a jazz bass in drop D.
J bass, drop D, Geddy Lee
Best tone ever
The look on The Professors face at Geddy at the 5;00 mark to the end of the song is really priceless..complete control to park this masterpiece on the ground..perfect..there will never be another band like this or The professor..please rest easy..you are missed..
It was just a job for neil.his words not mine
Been on a huge Rush binge lately: chiefly... Driven, Fancy Dancer, Scars, La Villa Strangiato. The ENTIRE '74 ABC Live CD kicks serious ass!
It seems I've been on a Rush binge for 40 years now
Killer performance as always. Rush, except no substitute.
Bad Ass Band.> Bad Ass Song> AFTER 'Moving Pictures' Y'all!! ALL RUSH IS RUSH!!!!
one of the most under rated songs of all time by rush.....jam on bros where ever your at!!!!!!!!
My 1st concert was Farewell To Kings
My Last Was The Boys Last Show In Denver.
27 shows all together
So many killer openers in the beginning!!
This is what a jazz bass should sound like....
Their musicianship is beyond compare!!
😍😍😍😍solo amor y admiración por RUSH
That bass though !!!
The bass!!!!
Rest in peace the one and only, Milton... Banana!
Remembering Neil. Long live The Professor, his gifts to us immortal. Thank you. 🎲❣️❤️🥁❤️❣️🎲
Awesome song.
90's Rush still kicked ass!
IT'S MY TURN TO DRIVE!!!!! Awesome tune!!!!

I think this may be my favourite Rush song.
sweet bass solo!
PRS - guitars !!!
This song deserves more popularity
I was theeeeree..!! Dream come true..!!
Wish I was
Never seen Rush live?
That opening guitar riff is so amazing. Love the way the crowd reacts when Alex stats playing.
Awesome band ~♡♥♡~
What a crowd!
SO GOOD
It's my turn to drive, but it's my turn to drive! Hang on f*ckers. LOL
Rush in rio for the win
I guess they didn't do this one a lot "live," but it's hard to top this performance...
They only really played it during the Test For Echo - Vapor Trails era.
Back home to the traditional rock power trio attack
Why I play bass guitar. This right here. F****** ripping basslines from the man himself, Geddy Lee!
One of their best
Luigi's favorite song!!!
Love rush ....there a lot of over dubs on this or backing guitar sounds
Muito bom.
MASTERS!!!!!!
I hope I don’t get crushed for this but I think T4e is a great album.
It is
Maybe not the best for rush standards but an amazing album nonetheless. If another artist were to release T4E, it would be a really good album, it was criticised since it was compared to their golden age.
Never! It's an excellent album 💿
2:25 What´s the noise that follow the bass?
Neil's ride, I guess
Neil playing a little quick pattern on the bell of the cymbal just to punch up the accent
So does Alex's PRS have a piezo in it or something or is that a midi mix?
After 2:40 reverb kicks ass
I just came for the bass slide at 2:20

R.I.P NEIL
Missing Pratt!
Alex seems to be playing a 7 string here. Hard to see the guitar clearly but I count 7 poles on the pickups
No it's a 6-string, you can see the headstock. Some kind of PRS but not clear which model specifically.
S02e15
I have to break the news to so many of my friends... I was wrong, it's not a bassline.
T4E
They make it look so hard 🤪
