To know the physical pain Neil endured on this tour and still played for us fans the way he did just makes me appreciate him even more 🙏 I doubt other drummers would do that, he’s not about the money he actually cares to play amazingly for the fans to get their money’s worth and enjoy the experience 🙏 just utterly amazing!

I saw them in St. Louis on this tour; fourth show of the tour IIRC. The first time I ever saw Neil look like he was having to work to play, and I’d seen most tours going back to 1981. Always concentrating, but never straining. This time you could see the toll it was taking. Totally respect the man for hanging up his spurs and calling it a career. May he Rest In Peace.

She sat down for O'Baterista. I said "What are you doing?" "I don't really like drum solos" she said "So, this is Neal Peart" She stood up and was mesmerized for the 8 min solo. She basically said "Holy jesus fuck that's awesome!"

I become significantly emotional (...to a slightly painful degree at times) when I listen to, watch, or even just think about these guys... especially videos from tours that I saw. I know many of you have seen them on many, many tours and on dozens of occasions...but for being born in 1995, I consider myself very lucky to have seen them six times... the final of which, was at The Forum in Inglewood for this very tour. They're just so powerful and have such a profound meaning in my life. I share my love of them with my parents, who introduced me as a young child. I also share my love with all of you guys! It's amazing how fellow fans of this band are almost like one big extended family...and we 'get' each other (as many elsewhere in our lives do not) ...and it's even inspired me to become a musician myself. My life would not be what it is without Rush. I have so many fond memories, and I look back with mostly inspiration and joy...but the thought that I will never experience that again directly does weigh on me at times... it exists now only in my memories, and in my passions. I will say, though...the sadness does bring a certain amount of motivation for me to put everything I've got into my own music, and persist in pursuing the things in life that I love. I don't think I could thank them enough...

The complex time signatures and tight arrangement of this song have baffled me from the very first time I heard it. I can never keep up with it

For these dudes coming out playing in pain speaks volumes .A 40 yr. career in music at the top of your game is why Rush was and still is sooo popular. ❤❤❤

Alex is so underrated with his arsenal of guitars and talent he could make you laugh cry smile or just blow your head off at any given time abloody legend

Look at this legend, Neil is to drums like Eddie is to guitars. Neil doesn't flail around like an idiot like a lot of these drummers do or like Animal does. Miss him so much. Rush was my era and their music will live on forever. Rip Neil and Ed.

Neil is to drums like Alex is to guitars like Geddy is to bass, thats one of the reasons Rush is so amazing. (Seriously though, Alex is a vastly underrated guitarist)

I first heard this at the R40 show in Philadelphia. I kind of missed out on Rush in the 21st century but here I was amazed that they could up their instrumental game even then.

Damn. I miss seeing these guys live. At least I got to take in quite a few Rush shows from 1996 to 2015. But still. Seeing performances like this again make me pine for the past!
