An all-time Talladega cup race this was. 4 wide 8 deep lap after lap, a monster crash going 2 wide after they were cruising 4 wide, and then a really close finish. Top 5 forsure
Playoff system is so good none of the people in it can win. What a stellar system!
The first non-playoff driver to win in the playoffs didn’t happen until 2021 actually
@JackLikesTrackhouse 3 out of the last 5 winners are not in the playoffs. Might have happened for the first time in 2021 but now it's the norm.
Im surprised NASCAR let it happen actually. Since they control the tapered spacer at every track and the tires, its super rare that it happened, let alone 3x in one season

Kyle Busch has been close so many times this season, but being close is never enough in a sport where wins matter more than consistency...
In the old scoring system consistency was a big thing but now with the way the playoffs are done a win gets you automatically in and then once your in the playoffs a win advances you so nascar has made wins more important which I think is crazy

Kyle hasn’t been consistent. Thats the thing. If he was more consistent he would still be in the playoffs.

While I would have watched it if I had not forgotten about the start time, and I'll take my boy in the #5 going forward. A great recap of the race.
I was watching logano's in car on RUclips and it just looks so stressful racing here. The cars are dancing around so much and you are so close to everyone. You have to really have trust in the guys driving around you. One mistake moving a couple inches too much or someone having a split second late reaction can end your race in.
Whoever’s job it was to put this together and put it up on RUclips I just want to say you did a great job this week I feel like I should tell you since I complain whenever you don’t

Can someone tell me why they didn't throw the red flag. Instead of letting lap's count down
After the mega-crash, maybe they wanted to get it down to a green-white-checkers and decrease the likelihood of another big wreck before the race was over. It takes them a good part of a lap on this track to get up to speed, so the next-to-last lap is less likely to have a wreck after an overtime restart, and once the white flag flies its over whatever flag gets flown next.
