- "Beautiful Night" is a song written and sung by Paul McCartney. It was officially released on his album "Flaming Pie" in 1997. The song was originally intended for a project in the '80s called "Return to Pepperland". The album was unreleased, with much of the material being redone for future releases (i.e. 1989's "Flowers In The Dirt" LP).
This is an early, alternate version of "Beautiful Night" recorded in 1986-1987. It was recorded years prior to the version on "Flaming Pie" which featured Ringo Starr, as this arrangement features some different lyrics, but it is just as good! One of Paul's best solo ballads! - Видеоклипы
The MASTER of the Piano ballad.
Beautiful Night is a magnificent song. I'm thrilled to hear this version but I do prefer the later version. Paul is amazing. Greatest performer of the modern age.
Great to discover this version. I too loved the version on Flaming Pie. King of Ballads. King of Soft Rock. No-one comes close.
I like this version more than the original release.
Due to an awful divorce, I lost my beautiful baby Hailey. I haven't seen her for more than ten years. She loved this song when she was little. I remember dancing with her to this song cuz she loved it. I remember feeling so blessed to have her. Thank you Paul for another beautiful song. :)
Parts of this new version are better, Parts of the other version are better, So I have decided I love both. I prefer the way he sings in this version here. Specially towards the end. Magnifique. But I love all the instruments he added for the official version and..Ringo's drums.
I still prefer Flaming Pie's version, but it's been such a wonderful surprise listening to this one!!!!!! Fantastic Paul McCartney, as ever.
He is awesome. He can write great songs.
I absolutely love this song!
Have been a fan of Paul's for over 40 years,to me he is the most famous person on this planet.
The king of all song writing he sits high in the sky looking down on everyone else.
Simply stunning vocals, particularly during the extended fade out. More powerful and raw than polished version.
I love this song, and i didn't know that is from 80', such a genius Paul!
Paul is the BEST!!!! I love their songs, Nice Version.
I never knew this was recorded over ten years earlier! I still like the '90s version better but this is still fantastic and fascinating!
I have never heard this version before, but I still prefer the Flaming Pie version and also the Studio version. The making of Beautifull Night.

Wow great version.
this version sounds good,it´s just only the end with ringo as plus and will be perfect
So beautiful.....the best...💜💜
I prefer the Flaming Pie version. It's less cheesy overall but I like that this doesn't have the unnecessary outro the Flaming Pie version has. It's a fine song and one of the best he's written.
I like the way he delivers his phone call here it seems more expressive rather than trying to sing properly though I do love the flaming by the ocean just as much they're both great but it is fantastic to hear the voice crack in a little and so on and I thinking time will get to adore these version small
Love this song!!!
This is very interesting and should have been a bigger hit in the USA than it was in 1997. A decent hit in the UK. The Flaming Pie version blows this away. This almost sounds like an elaborate demo more than a finished song. Still very interesting. Rip Linda and Phil Ramone.
Nice! Go Macca baby!
Thank you Thank you! Been Looking for this version for the longest!
You're welcome. I was looking for it for a long time, too. It was worth the wait for me.
Nice version.
LOVE IT!
Lovely version. Thank you so much for uploading
sounds like it could be a Beatles song from the 1968/69 period!! cool man👍😀🎼🎶
Simply fantastic.
nice version Paul!
Awesome!
The echo effect on vocal makes me chilly.I prefer to the version in"Flaming Pie"
this is a better version
Interesting version. His voice seems a little stronger and some of the words are different. I think I prefer the more elaborate instrumentation on the Flaming Pie version.
Wow !!!
I like Phil Ramone's production and sounds.
But this version don't have the epic finale and the right chord changes in the middle 8
Better than the Flaming Pie version!
Great version! Flaming Pie version is overproduced IMHO
To me this version (the original version) is much better than the Flaming Pie version. The echoey piano and singling is much better here imo and the emotion that Paul puts into the singing at the end is great. I thought the scrubbed Pepperland album was also vastly superior to Flaming Pie, I also thought it was better than any post 1980 McCartney album (except for maybe New, which I have not broke in yet).
better and powerful voice than flaming pie version, but I prefer that version
Is this Phil Collins on drums? Sounds like it.
is beautiful Paul Non l'ho mai sentita qual'è l'album?
