Solved a problem I was having in Live as I just bought Antares Harmony Engine and was trying to side chain the plugin on a MIDI track as you do in Logic but seeing you set it up on the audio track and then send the MIDI to that track was the lightbulb moment I was looking for.. There's virtually nothing on You Tube explaining how to feed it MIDI using Live which I find very strange seeing how pretty much every male singer songwriter is searching for that Bon Iver sound :D Super useful vid and love that Kontact trick - the harmonies have a different character to iZotope and Antares plugs.. Nice to hear them side-by-side!
Thanks for the comparison! I was thinking to buy the Antrares Harmony Engine but now I had to realize that the result sounds quite unnatural and robotic. There seems to be not fast path around recording real harmonies
I bought it 6 mn ago and tried to use it on my songs but the result is not good enough, you feel the robot behind this plugin it’s impossible to get a natural sound in pop music. Maybe it could be a fine tool for electro style.
have you tried using octavox as well? I can't get it to work properly the interval midi shit just doesnt work like I expect it to and like it does in the Harmony Engine
the midi output for mine worked at one point now when I click the “master” button to the audio track then that little tab under that… it should you select harmony engine but it only says “track input” Any ideas?
How did you get antares harmony engine to work with midi in ableton? I can't seem to get it to work. It doesn't show harmony engine as an option for the midi input

Can you please make a video showing how to load in the entire audio into Kontakt? I'm not following.
It's very simple, you gotta drag the file audio you wanna tweak in Kontakt and then press the wrench symbol to start tweaking your file.

Yes, just drag a sample into kontakt and it will create an instrument for you.

Could you potentially just create an Audio Effect Rack with two Chains to double your amount of voices? I think Antares sounded the best
