4:47 - Doesn't the fact that it sounds like a choir of Cylons present at least a tiny bit of an issue? The way it's marketed, they make it sound like it's going to enable you to create natural-sounding harmonisations, while in fact ... it's close to being absolute dog shit. And expensive dog shit at that. I can create a much more pleasing effect by using the Vocoder effect that comes packaged with Ableton Live.
I mean yeah i think if you're wanting 'natural' there's probably better plugins - I think antares might even have a specific plugin for this outside of harmony engine that I don't use. I like the vibe of harmony engine, for me it's just a slightly more 'natural' vocoder that still sounds artificial. Nothing beats actually recording harmonies for a choir if you want it to actually sound good.

Yes! Harmony Engine IS insane! It claims to be able to so all kinds of shit, but just... doesn't.
The harmonies it produces sound waaaaaayyyy too robotic. 😬 Sounds like an intense vocoder.
For most genres I could see this plug-in being irrelevant.
