Yeah, if you're not used to playing double bass and blast beats it will definitely push you to your limit... I remember meeting Hellhammer once in my teens and the dude had arms and legs thicker than my whole body, that's what a drummer that plays basically _nothing but_ blast beats every song of every gig they play almost has to look because of how much strength and stamina something like that requires. The amount of time spent at the gym some of the metal drummers I've known is pretty much comparable to semi-professional athletes, and that's on top of the time they spend practicing on the drums 😅
This is the difference between trained and untrained ears, it’s like when someone says “the vocal was great” but I hear all the flat notes, once it’s trained you can ignore, it’s clear as day sadly

People don't understand that Slipknot's drumming is downright mid-tempo and simple for metal music. Not even to knock Slipknot, but every video I come across that is related to Slipknot drumming, the replies are about how fast and hard it is but like... Wanna listen to more metal? A decent metal drummer (this dude is a really good drummer, but isn't into metal and you can tell he lacks the basic muscle memory for the genre) could pick this song up almost instantly. One or two listens and improv something just as good. A few more and go note-for-note.
