    Please stop it with with the innovative and specific products for my bike, how can anyone resist? Seriously guys, tip of the hat to what you're doing. Not just "mini-mods" like most other companies, but full on dedication to bring the best, most advanced mods for KTM that hit the nail on the head.

    For those of who have a bunch of rottweiler mods can you include comments at the appropriate times if certain mods require a different step? I'm thinking Tail Tidy, Fuel Line Disconnect etc.

      This is a great comment and thanks for bringing this up. If you ask us, anytime is good to install everything 😂, but we can answer what you have brought up here.
      Tail tidy can be done at any time. It’s obviously sliiiiightly easier when installing the EnduroCell, but only by a small easy bolt or two and a couple connections. Not worth grouping for a couple bolts.
      The one thing that comes to mind would be ‘Things to do when the fuel tank is off’. While quite straightforward on the 7/890 Adventure, removing the fuel tank can be a little daunting for some and they will probably want to capitalize on that procedure by performing any combination of the mods below together.
      Power Commander 6
      Rott Performance Fuel Line
      Fuel pump spigot and spigot guard (but can also be easily done with the tank on)
      Canister and valve removal
      RP Headline Brace (19-22) is slightly easier, but can also be done with the tank on.
      That’s about all we can think of for now, but if we remember something we’ll be sure to update this comment.
      Cheers!

    Great product!! But i have a couple questions.. If for exemple you choose the black one, how can you tell how much fuel you still have with the Endurocell fuel tank, if the oem fuel tank runs out? Does it show on the oem dash that the range as increased? Or there is a way you can had a seperate display to show how much fuel is still on the secudary tank? And does it fit on the 890 SMT? Thanks

      Black is for people who want their bikes looking stock. Just like the stock black tank, you can't see the level like you could with the white tank. White just allows you to see where the fuel level is. What happens to your fuel level indicator is it just slows down if the EnduroCell petcock is left open, meaning it will drain at the same level as your stock fuel tank and stay level with that. Because there is more fuel, it will just consume the overall level slower. Your fuel level gauge will work as normal, just will go down slower. If you keep the petcock closed, then it can be used as a 'reserve' tank, and you fuel level gauge will drop as normal. If you run out of fuel, just open up the petcock and you will have 1.8 gallons to use. It will drain into your stock tank, so the gauge will slowly rise as the fuel enters and levels with the stock tank. This is all gravity fed so no pumps required. There is no reason for a second display for these reasons.
      We haven't seen an 890 SMT over here yet (March 2024) but we are about 95% certain there is no difference. If you would like to email us detailed pictures of your SMT to info@rottweilerperformance.com, (include a link to this conversation so our customer service people will know what you are referring to), we can help by looking at the pics.

      @@RottweilerPerformance Thank you for the information. I didnt realised it would drain into the stock tank, i thought it would drain directly into the fuel line. I will do that, thank you once again 😁👍

      @@RottweilerPerformance Btw, what is the total range you can get with both tanks? Have you already mesured it? Thanks again.

      It connects in a 'T' into the crossover line, but by default it equalizes with the stock tank so same same. @@Damageo

      We can't really answer that question because that depends on your tires, mapping, throttle usage etc. What we can tell you is that the stock tank is 5.2 and that the EnduroCell is 1.8 which adds 35% more fuel, so we can tell you that you will get 35% more range than you are currently getting. Hope that makes sense. @@Damageo

    Wow, very comprehensive install video as usual. Will this tank fit the 901? If not please detail why not, thank you.

      It will, with some small caveats. This was designed for the R version KTM, so it only works with single piece seats. If you get one of those, you are in the home run. The ONLY other thing is that you need to trim some of the front of the rear fender where you can't see the modification under the seat for the fuel filler. If you are willing to do that (rear fenders are cheap) and the seat, it will work no problem. The third thing which is very small is that when you go to reinstall the rear license plate assembly it will touch the fuel tank ever so slightly. Nothing to be bothered about but wanted to mention that so you have a full sight picture. That's it and we have done a few of them.

    Great product I've just installed it myself over the weekend and looking forward to testing it on a trip to Oman this week. I'm wondering if there is another way to route the fuel hose so it doesn't pass so close to the chain as I have the aftermarket cover it looks a bit exposed.

    • @RottweilerPerformance
      @RottweilerPerformance  11 месяцев назад

      We give you a bit extra so you can find your own way if you like. We suggest our way, but you are welcome to try something different. We have not really had any issues with the current way of routing though. You have things on your bike that are much more exposed than that like wires on your handlebars etc. Unless you toss a chain (in which you'll have bigger problems than a severed line) you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

      @RottweilerPerformance  Год назад +1

      Hey dude, the design of this started before the Norden existed. That being said they will fit with a couple things. A: it needs a one piece seat. B: You’ll need to trim the front of the rear fender just under the seat where you can’t see the mod for the filler. That’s it really. We’ll do a video on this soon.
