Lol, yrs ago, i worked in a 4 story building in a city & sat at my desk on the 3rd floor. Small building, with very good air conditioning running throughout all floors. I thought nothing of blowing some of those indestructable bubbles at my desk. I thought they were super cool. Purchased from a magic shop that was located not far down the street.
The bubbles got sucked through the air conditioning & ended up on every floor, i got people buzzing me from the basement, where stock was stored & boxed for deliveries, buzzed from the shop floor that was packed with customers, buzzed from the boses office on the 4th floor - All asking about the bubbles floating everywhere 😂🎉 I was surprised to say the least.

It's part of a nationwide organization--there may be a secret supply store/writing center in your town! I grew up visiting the Liberty Street Robot Supply and Repair store in Ann Arbor--get all your robot supplies in the front, then head into the back to let your imagination run wild.

The concept of the video is so cool, the third store is very old school style, so nice :D But mu favorite is the fourth one! TBH they are all cool.
These are sooooo cool and a great, fun use of space in NYC, where the buildings tend to be long and narrow. I loved the superhero supply store and writing center in the back. I am a writer for a living, so for sure that gets my approval! I think my favorite was the last one, though--The Little Shop. What an incredibly cute idea!! I will have to drag my husband there. 💖
Cool idea for a video! I didn't even know hidden stores existed! That art gallery should have sold postcards, mugs or tote bags of some of their art. Then you could have fully completed the challenge.
And the artist might actually make money. I imagine $14k paintings don't just fly off the shelves. They should've had prints at least.

This was so much fun to watch!!! You are so kind and generous sponsoring the children's writing centre. I went to the library as a kid and they had on of those clubs. My son works at a library and loves reading and writing. His favorite thing is when he plans children's programs. He gets to see how excited they all all. He read so much as a child. He once told me when he was about 6 year old that one day he would love to live in a library. Now he said he practically does. Hugs and blessings to you.

I worked at a small movie theater in a small town in Northern California built in 1914. There is a story that Harry Houdini had a trap-door custom built into the stage for one of his acts that would allow him to access the dressing room under the stage from the top of it. The owner converted the under-the-stage dressing room into a bar/lounge for private events. It is the coolest place ever. People who go to watch movies don't know what's under the stage.

I'm shocked you didn't visit Omega Mart!! It's a faux grocery store that has a secret fridge door leading to a ginormous exploration / art zone (kinda similar to the trolls place) and it's SO MUCH fun!! I went to the one in Vegas at Area 15 this past 4th of July!

Exciting video, I liked the idea of hidden places so will definetly try to find one in my city. I especially loved the place with the Superhero staff and Art gallery. Also huge shout-out to the montage, it just keeps getting better with all these movements across different locations.
Most artists these days offer art grade prints of their paintings for those who are not art collectors but still want to support the artist and have a painting in their home. They understand that the average person can't afford $14k for art so the official prints ( often even signed by the artist) is how they can still connect with everyone through their art. In my opinion if you had managed to get an art print I would have counted that as a success for the one shopping trip that was deemed a failure.
I love the last one! When you're tipsy, you want snacks! lol And the bar & dishes are so cute! In SF, there is a speakeasy called The Pawn Shop. Apparently, you have to trade something to get in.
Contemporary "art" is a such a joke. Random splatters on canvas and they have the audacity to charge $14,500 for it 🙄

Hi Hope! You probably aren't going to read this but still, I have been bullied. teased, ect. You always put a smile on my face everytime I watch your videos! Your positive energy, when something goes wrong you don't get upset, it sometimes motivates me to be happy, at leased for a few days. I am always super, "happy" and "over excited" but that just isn't the case. Sometimes when I go home and just cry so much, But you and only a few other people can make me happy. Again, you probably aren't going to read this, but anyway, love you hope!

Go to Minneapolis, a place called Volsteads! It’s through an alleyway, it’s just a hidden speakeasy and it’s so cute, and they have hidden rooms! I have not been inside them but it’s very cool!

In Huntsville, Alabama, we have Campus 805. It's an old high school that has been converted into a brewery and a bunch of restaurants and some community areas. There's also a secret speakeasy that you access through the lockers. The lockers are mounted so that you can slide them aside and there's the speakeasy!

As someone who is a hobbying writer and who just received her library sciences degree, the superhero store was my favorite.
Since it seems there is a lack of kid spaces now and days, I loved seeing a program that allows kids to be kids and help them pursue writing. It was so cute seeing books they contributed to being sold.
