    You’re right about airbags, especially on lifted trucks! I like to know what you think about those Firestone’s. I’ve got Airlifter on my ‘17 F250, ‘18 F350 and 2020 F450. I get my 2020 F250 in a couple weeks... I’m ready to try something new. BW is THE way to go!

      zfilmmaker adman man you have a nicer fleet than me! You need to be making videos. I have had 2 sets of airlift and this is my 2nd set of Firestone’s. I like the Firestone compressor in my 550 more than the wireless one by airlift. Much quieter.

    • @zfilmmaker

      I did have some videos for Superduty heavy hauling my two lg square balers and Cigarette 42’ Top Gun behind my then 2017 F450. I didn’t have to many views. Seemed Superduty heavy hauling wasn’t to popular. I had one video with 289k views back in 2016 when I installed a Carli Dominator kit on my 2016 F350 King Ranch with big burly King 3.0 shocks. Man was that an impressive rider! I’m the Carli/King guy from Ford Enthusiasts that’s gotten everyone interested in that route. No relation to Carli or King. I think I actually had 400k views installing a Carli 2” lift/level, King shocks, Airlift 5000, Wilwood HD brakes, Baja fog lights and a Titan tank on my ‘17 F250 Lariat. It was a popular heavy mod video. The only reason I took my videos down was Ford bought rights from RUclips to use my F450 towing videos at shows and because I didn’t have enough subscribers to meet profit sharing, YT made all the money. I’m sure it was several thousand in licensing fees. I don’t care about the money so much, just the principle that YT nor Ford didn’t even tell me. I had to get my lawyer to stop YT from selling my videos even after I deleted them. That’s not good business practices. That’s the hard truth here. YT makes a ton of money on all content that they are not fully transparent about. I went to a car show and saw two of my videos up on a huge screen at Ford’s booth. Anyway, my collection includes a 1966 and 1969 F250 crew cabs that I restored. Those are the Crown Jewels of my collection! Maybe I’ll make a video about them.

    • @zfilmmaker
      @zfilmmaker 5 лет назад +1

      Curt Lane I sold the truck. I learned a valuable lesson on that one when I sold it. Nobody cares or appreciates high-end aftermarket mods. The Dominator was a $10k suspension replacement, not just a lift. Carli doesn’t sell the kit anymore which is a shame. I lost a ton of money selling that truck but I needed the garage space for a 2017 I ordered. The takeaway is, don’t spend a ton of money on mods thinking it’s going to raise the value of your truck. Just do that stuff for yourself and enjoy it.

I still get a chuckle when I watch you step on the pedal and you get so excited at how much better this truck is in the power department! Also, caught a glimpse of a Tim’s cup in your center console, true Canadian right there!

    I just bought a 22 f350 Platinum 7.3 gas no need for diesel. I put a 7000 lb travel trailer on it a few times a year. But i do use a short iron pull plow which is around 2500 lbs maybe less. I’m going to put air lift 5000 stainless sleeve air bags with the wireless compressor and i have seen the issues u have had. I’m thinking of installing the compressor under my retrax Mx pro sliding lid and I’m in Massachusetts do u think it will be fine there being out of the weather ???

    Your video shows the Firestone Ride-Rite PN: 2600. The Firestone website says the 2600 is for the 2020 F250 2WD.
    Firestone website PN for the 2020 F250 4WD is: 2605.
    The 2605 manual shows that it installs traditionally between the axle and removed bumper stop.
    As shown in your vid, the 2600 installs between the spring and frame.

      Improves steering control and braking effectiveness, level headlight beams and reduce tire wear
      Individual inflation valves allow for side-to-side adjustment
      Keeps leaf springs from permanent sagging under repeated or constant load
      Protective air cushion softens contact between the axle and frame and absorbs road shock - providing ideal ride conditions for your passengers and load
      Fits 2017 Ford F250 and F350, 2WD and 4WD models

    Love the truck I want to see how that 10 speed does going up the hills. Ford has embargoed driving impressions until January 21st so most of the people who do Car/Truck reviews are stuck waiting until then. (That's my guess anyway).

    • @carls2210
      @carls2210 5 лет назад +3

      Jordan Blackman supposedly ford is providing driving evaluations that most can’t do or won’t do with trucks they have or are borrowing. That’s straight from BTBRV’s channel.

    • @toddsonic
      @toddsonic 5 лет назад +3

      Simply put if you make your living doing car and truck reviews you honor the manufacturers embargoes or you will loose your advanced access, as for owners of said trucks it's free game once you have purchased the vehicle yourself.

    • @carls2210

    • @workplaytv

      Carl Stovall Yeah I seen that comment and I’d love to see the journalist do some of things I do with my trucks! Haha

    • @toddsonic
      @toddsonic 5 лет назад +1

      It's not so much about secrecy and more about being fair to as many reviewers as they can, everyone gets to preview the vehicles in advance but every has to wait to release their opinions until the agreed upon date.
      For example TFL truck has done several towing tests already comparing the 2020's against their competitors at GM and Ram however they have to impatiently wait until the embargo is lifted to release those videos though.

      @@workplaytv The nice thing about the factory 5th wheel prep package is 3rd party manufactures also make nice options for 5th wheel hitches that use the puck system. (the 4 outside pucks not the center gooseneck)
