I love it when the wife gets done with food after a hard day at work, and I sit down just to get a notification from you pal. Thanks for being great content to watch!
Great information. Thanks. Where my trailer I put a small block under the jacks to prevent the sinking in the ground. Also we run the tires on a plank so they don't sink also .makes life easier especially when they are not used as much. ❤the video. 🇨🇦Ontario
I am so impressed with your enthusiasm! Be safe! You just go and go and go...I know you're trying to get the "cottage" done (for me) lol, but remember to take care of you also... I really can't wait till you rent that out.. in hopes to come up sometime and see this fabulous place!!!!
I wonder if you would see a big difference in fuel mileage at all with the larger tires. I have a 19 F150 eco boost FX4 crew cab with the 6.5 bed and 3.31 rear end stock tires are 275/55R20 I upgraded to 285/65R20 BFG KO2 E rated and I saw no difference in mileage pump to pump. I did a road trip from Nipigon Ontario to Espanola Ontario 509 miles across hwy 17. 89 litres used for an average of 21.6 mpg
Great video. We have been looking for a new truck for a while now. The picking aren’t great right now. We have a GMC And want to buy another but might have to go to Ford. You have great equipment. Take care
Have been meaning to ask if you did a video on recalibrating your speedometer? Will be going through the FORScan steps this weekend on my 450 w/new 265s. Fingers Crossed.
Them are not hills, they're pimples 🤣. If I could have a choice of engines for my pickup I would go with Cat....more torque...lots of it to be exact but ,they don't make them anymore. I like my GMC, lots of power, even more with propane injection :) Thanks for the vid, be well !
What gears do you have? Seems to work pretty darn good that's a lot of weight and something people don't consider is your pulling a wall down the road for wind resistance
That is f****** impressive that truck pulls like nothing behind it I know exactly how big 265 tires are those are heavy meats to swing, I know what KX80s weigh, the 6.7 Powerstroke and 10spd transmission makes those grades look like mole hills.
Great Vid as always Man!! Was curious are you allowed to EGR delete and Tune your truck? I know here in the states we can and it’s not illegal. Take care!
May I ask how much you’d pay for those tyres? …. Not that I need snow/ice driving tyres in Queensland Australia, just interested. That was a fun ride thanks. ❤️🇦🇺🇨🇦
@@workplaytv Run it for a million miles I’d luv to see how & if it holds up? PD Diesel Power has one 6.7 Powerstroke F-350 in his fleet with just turned 300K miles of nothing but Towing heavy Goosenecks! Still going strong 💪!
I saw that you commentated that while driving you don’t always know when the truck is going through a regen cycle. That always bugged me as well for my 2020 F250. Then one day I watched a video that explained how the computer can be programmed to monitor the exhaust filter to let you know how plugged the filter is. That way you can get an idea when the truck will go through a regen cycle. I had my computer programmed by the local Ford dealer for about $100 and love it. Thought you might want to know. I love watching your videos.
@@erikcruz6292 yes. I can now see what percentage the filter is plugged and approximately how long before the truck goes into regen. Then when the regen starts you can see as the filter gets less and less plugged until it gets to zero.
Hehe he said it town better than a Cummins. you never going to out pull a 6.7 Cummins and your never going to have a stronger exhaust brake than a Cummins. in-line engines never rev that high which means they have better low end torque and they last longer. In your case your going to trade the truck after warranty is over so by that time the engine is done.
@@workplaytv that’s fine your opinion although if you search online and what majority are saying is in favor of cummins. You can say ford makes better trucks than ram it’s probably true. But engine ram hands down I have two myself.
@@umadbrooo6947 the new powerstroke and 10 speed combo is a beast, especially in his specific setup (450 with 4:30 ? I think rear end) it will definitely out pull a new Cummins with a somewhat comparable power band. The Cummins is a beast too don’t get me wrong, the Ford will do it slightly faster. Reliability and whatever other opinions you might have aside, his specific Ford setup will tow the same load to the top of the same mountain faster than the Ram.
@@BadoreksDailys again your taking about short term. A 6 speed is tried and true reliable. Only reason they put a 10 speed is because fuel economy. many people owning fords with 10 speed are having transmission problems. You can’t talk about a 10 speed when it’s new to the market. there is a reason why most hot shot drivers drive ram with 6 speed aisin. Give it some times his truck still new we talk about it than.
@@umadbrooo6947 that’s why I said reliability and everything else aside. I’m a huge Ram fan, I work at a Ram truck center, so don’t get me wrong, I completely agree with you. But if you’ve driven the 10 speed fords theres no denying the power they have over the Ram. All I was saying was his f450 will beat any comparable Cummins truck up the hill with the same load, not arguing reliability or anything like that. From strictly a power perspective, Fords have more power and out tow (in terms of power) the Rams right now.

Hi there ... watching from the UK 🇬🇧 and thoroughly enjoying your posts ... beautiful property 👌
Totally agree with your views on the truckers.
Man those tires really change the look of the truck for the good. I’m looking at a 2008 F450 and I’m going to put that size on it
265’s look so good!
Love seeing your truck work! The sound of the engine 💪🏼💪🏼. Appreciate your work and videos! 👍🏼
First hinge first so happy the snow melted off at my house lol.
I hate going to larger tires though Shit messes with the gear ratio so much

do you put 265's on stock 6'' rim?

Sorry I didn’t
That check engine light would drive me insane. What is it on for? I'm sure youve mentioned it before.....
Def heater shit
Love to see the channel growing! 100k In no time. Would love to see a 2022 super duty if you can find one 🙄
