Great looking truck, tires fill up the wheel wells perfect, looks like a good heavy truck should. Thanks for the time and info you put in the video. Stay safe out there on the road. Thanks again.
If you need more ground clearance take off your air dam. I've done it and my fuel milage stayed the same and makes the truck look better. Love from Ontario 👍🏻
My preferred 19.5 tire is the Bridgestone M729; they do howl a little bit. The Michelins you bought are a winter tire the same tread pattern is used on 22.5 24.5. Yes, tires are hard to come by. I agree the 245 is the best option for 19.5 on 450/550 trucks. I'm not a fan of changing 19.5 tires, have a 5500 Sterling Bullet in the fleet. It's easier to tire spoon 11R22.5 tires off/on.
Good video Tyson. Man those tires completely changed the looks of the truck. Oh by the way ford has issued a service bulletin about the front suspension
I currently have a 08 F-450, I run Michelin 92982 X Multi D 265/70r19.5/14 Tire. They discontinued this model. Just ordered a 2022 F-450, managed to find a set to hold for the new truck.
Mines a 2008 as well, I’ve aligned it a few times and played with air pressure and still got weird wearing with 245s, it’d seem to be even worse with 265s, I’m glad it worked out for you but King Ranch acts childish about tires. Tech said it’s because of the factory 6” wide wheels
Forgive me if it's been brought up already. However, I have 3 F450's that do nothing but tow literally 98% of there life they are towing. After going through a couple sets of tires and doing a little bit of a lot of research as you know they are not cheap. I went with more of a directional gripped tire like you see on a semi front end. Ever sense then I have had nothing but good luck and long lasting durability of the front tires. The tire shop manager said it is probably from being out of alignment towing so much. This is because when you tow primarily heavy it literally kicks your truck out of alignment. I saw your previous video of the front tires cupping badly just like mine did. Something to think about/look into in the future these tires won't be as bad but likely won't last as long as they would if they were directional steer tires.
I just heard the next heavy snow and Ice about to hit us in Tennessee is going to bump on you. I know you are ready. Be careful, I know you have to be out and about especially with your new tires.
You can use Forscan to change your tire size and circumference, which should correct your speedo. Then do a few gps to odometer drives to compare actual miles (gps measurement vs truck computer). You can then go into the engineering tables (see other RUclips videos) to make that correction. Should solve both problems with very little effort. Hope that helps. Thanks for your time you put into these videos!
The code is your def heater voltage is off. Mine went at 50k and my buddies went a week later. It's like 1500.00 if your out of warranty. If it goes all the way out you won't be able to Regen.
Your a smart man to go with michelin tires. The best in the induatry. Im looking into 265/70r19.5 or maybe 22.5 for my ram 5500. Im a road side tire tech. Worked for boulivard tire, conlan tire, national tire, and st lucy tire.
The air damn is there primarily to help with fuel economy but reducing the airflow under the truck. Taking it off completely will affect it to some degree. Others have replaced the stock one with the Superduty Raptor one, which is smaller to give the Raptor better ground clearance. Me, personally, I wouldn’t remove it totally as I care more for the fuel mileage.
Do you miss the F450 yet... Old Video, question on the OEM rim size of 6" width. Did you have any problems sealing or hauling with the 265's mounted? Doesn't appear to be sidewall is showing signs of mounted to narrow Wheel. Was near getting new tires for F450 and 265's look nice but everything I read is they're to wide for 6" rims. Always enjoy your videos, but I do miss the F450 in the videos.
Smart choice on getting new tires if I must say, Always an awesome video, It's been a while since I've seen any videos. WHATS GOING ON WITH THE other house with the awesome views ???
I hope you can get life out of 265s, I run 245s and wear weird as hell even playing around with pressure, seems to like 80-90psi in 245s. I could 265s on stock wheels acting silly.
Damn man those tires look killer dude. Mean enough but still down to do business. You need to get those hub caps on and fix that mud flap. It’s killing me I have no idea why 😂
How is everything working out with 265 70 19.5 Michelin XDE 2 plus? Are you having any rubbing issues? Are they wearing out evenly? Do you have Centramatic Balancer added to your truck? I just ordered 2023 F450 Limited and will keep the option open to put bigger tires on first tire change time. How many miles have you driven on your new tires since? Did you get the mismatch on MPH taken care? How?
@@workplaytv That is good to know. I will definitely upgrade. Could I keep the air dam with 265 70 19.5?- I sent same question on your other posting for this question. How often do you do the tire rotation? Do you have a TPMS add on? if not, how often do you check your tire pressures?
I was thinking of the same size tires on my 450. Did you or the tire place question that size tire on the stock size/width rims along with the weight you tow? I know on the forums that is a concern.
Looks sharp Tyson, you know when you go to get your steering wheel straightened ford's gonna tell you they need a part and your gonna have to come back in 2 months, or leave the truck till it comes in 🤣
@TBNRPrime Studios Even for the smallest things right now they tell me to leave it and they will get to it when they can...people paying $50k-$110k for these trucks and can't get ford to fix them WHEN they break, cuz they will break!!!
Nice! I’m definitely doing a lot of research ( when I have time) into the Forscan. More and more info makes me feel like I need a computer engineering degree to drive my Fords. 😂.

Iam running 295/65/R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers but yours look beefier! 🤔 Maybe your truck just have a massive look that fit those tires! Mines starting to just feel to small maybe! 🤷♂️
Looks great man! I'm looking to upgrade to a newer dually to tow my 38 foot enclosed gooseneck - car/suv/motorcycle trailer. My trailer can fit two cars and two motorcycles at the same time. Anyway, later this year, I'm going to trade in my 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie Dually Crew Cab 4x4, for a low mile 2022 Ford F350 Platinum Dually with the FX4 Package... I really love the styling of the Ford. I also love the 10-speed auto, along with that amazing 475 HP / 1,050 LB-FT 6.7L Diesel V8. My truck still has a respectable 400 HP / 1,000 LB-FT 6.7L I6, but it only has a 6-speed auto. My Ram 3500 is fairly quick, but it feels slow compared to the 2021 F350 Platinum Dually I test drove. The F350 also has that larger 48 gallon fuel tank. Mine has 16 less gallons at only 32 gallons. They're both amazing trucks, but I'm looking forward to buying this F350 Platinum hopefully before next summer.

You need centramatic wheel balancers. Will help with the wave you’re getting in the tires
Thanks for sharing. Would the 265 be too wide for the OEM wheels? Michelin recommend 6.75 inch or wider, the OEM is 6 I think.

Toyo M608 or the Michelin XDE 2+ better all around tire for the 450 in snow, mud, and on pavement?
