For people saying that he is driving to fast he has a higher skill level in driving in snow cuz like he said he’s been driving in those roads for 20 years it’s skill over road conditions. Drive safe though.
Yeah it's skill over road conditions until you get humbled haha, just know the consequences of your actions, drive fast have fun but take responsibility if you screw up and do better
Thank you for another video. I love seeing you drive in the snow. I miss it a lot. I am from Sweden. I have lived in Australia for 30 years now. I still miss the snow. Take Care and stay safe. Greetings from Doris in Australia :)
Great video, my 2022 F450 came stock with Continental 225’s… did yours start with 225’s? Also do you have a lift or leveling kit to fit those things? Any rubbing in the front when you turn sharp?
Howdy !! Oh ya, I love driving in the snow, especially if there's no tracks....meaning being the first one on the road ! Weight in the box really helps, that's why I have them train tracks in the box, they take almost no room and they're heavy!! Just finished driving in the foothills during the last two days of snow storm, 30cm in them 2 days :) Yep, I know all about Cape Breton, I had a sister living in Marion Bridge, made the trip more than once in winter. That snow is dollar signs for you tho :) Be well ! thanks for the vid.
Whats not to like.. Until they were no longer available I'd get Michelin ZX Tyre's on any of my cars as soon as possible, the tread suited all year round.. the UK we'd not have it that bad with snow, mainly ice and black at that could be a problem.. but when one's young.. once you'd got in the frozen car there was no stopping. Most all the firms I'd worked would have and pull Michelin's on the fleet vehicles. What it is with Ford and Continentals.. must have shares.! When Ford owned Jaguar the spare in my ole S Type (Lincoln LS DEW98 platform) has a space-saver Continental.. Tyre technology today can one find a good all rounder Tyre.. Grip a dry road fine.!! Then that tread block look's mud/snow as would call them. Keep on trucking.. Stay safe. Cheers
Your Platinum have the Taillight Weigh Scale? Since it's not lifted, I would assume the taller tires have no effect against the Weigh Scale feature. You feel these are quieter than the OEM Continentals? The XDE2+ tires are drive wheel tires, any signs of cupping or odd wear for the Ft Tires after putting miles on them. The 265/70 gets them close the same file drive of the F350 with 3.7 Rear. Any felt loss in torque or off the line tow with the higher final gear?
It does not matter how high the skill level….. it is the “unknown “ factor , whether you know the road or do not know the road,😊 Be safe , drive defensively. I know this road…..in good driving conditions it is a 100/110 kmh highway.
@workplaytv Thanks! Thank you for the snow video. Live in Colorado, so want a good all around tire. I'm burning through my Toyo AT3. I'll be lucky if I get 24k out of them. I'm a Ram guy but your truck is definitely sexy and sorry to see it got damaged my the deer
Did you put them on the same rims and is there space betveen the wheels in the back so you can put chains on? I live in Sweden and sometimes I go to Norway and have to put chains on sometimes.
Do the duals touch? Looking to upgrade tires on my f550 dump. Would like a larger tire to fill wheel well just worried about a larger tire touching under load in rear.
WOW 4500.00 for 6 tires.....Is that what you spent?? thanks for the video very informative. my stock continentals on my 2019 F 450 chunked out after 10k miles but only the fronts....I tow a dump trailer 14K loaded all the time. No air bags yet. they are on my work bench now... Do you have airlift xl7500 bags on your truck?? Thanks Paul
@Workplaytv I am getting ready to buy a RAM 5500 to haul a 5th wheel RV. The 5th wheel will be around 25,000# I am very interested in this Michelin tire. Would this be good for hauling a 5th wheel in the drive and steer positions? I figured with your experience you would know! Any potential problems using them in the Steer positions?
@@workplaytv How long can you continue to drive on 4H High? What is the highest speed you have driven on 4H High? Can I put 265 79 19.5 on my F450 with air dam intact? Your video is really fun and practical to watch from beginning to end. I watched every one of your RUclips on multiple times. Thank you!
Truck is looking good! I agree with you that I actually enjoy driving in the snow, especially if you have the right vehicle and tires.

The right tires make a huge difference in the snow. Looking good.

That snow looks amazing. Have fun and thanks for sharing
Always the best scenery of any channel !
Stay safe, stay warm. 👍
Good video brother. I’m glad to see that the tires are doing awesome. Truck is looking good also, I’m glad to see the air dam / plow is gone.
nice to now.. and see. take care and be safe out on the road..
Great choice of tires!! Good tires makes for better driving, especially in snow like you get in NS..good job!
Fantastic video as always!!
I've got the Falken WildPeak AT3's on my RAM 3500 SRW. I absolutely love these tires. They also wear really well too.
Love seeing the videos! Truck is a beast
Really a good proving ground for those tires...they look as good as they track...

Glad to hear you’re happy w the tires. Looks like your putting on the miles w that 450 👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I had a S10. In the winter I needed better traction in the snow. I would put snow in the bed.

I just want the truck. Don't play too hard and be safe.
I made mentions somewhere about those monster factory front valances before, looks way better and tougher with it off and with them tires.

I've got a set of these on my f550 as well. Much better traction than the continentals. Upstate NY finger lakes region.

I know this road…..in good driving conditions it is a 100/110 kmh highway.
What kind are they again
Ploughing the drive before it stops snowing…..is like cleaning the house before the children stop growing. 😀 (Yep…..a mom platitude )
If you wait and get too much snow you may not be able to plow it.
You’d think for a $100K truck they’d put those tires you have on stock?
Kinda like having a small plane on the road… ?
Don't all tires become less effective in snow as they wear?
You still got that old 6.0? Haven’t seen her in a while.
Selling the 4 ton? What are you replacing it with? What's the smallest you would go for starting out?
Skid steer . 4 ton
@@workplaytv would you recommend going bigger? Or is that what you would still start with?
Not that its a huge step up in size, but is it rub free and are you at stock height?
Did you haft to run any spacers/mods? And are you running a leveling kit?
Nope
How many miles do you have on them tires now ? You still loving them? I like the looks of them and thinking of switching to 19.5 on my Ram 3500
50,000. Love them

Yup factory wheels . Lots of space
Do you think the duals would have enough room between each other if you were running 285?..good job on the videos.. safe travels
I think so but can’t be sure
You can if they are to close you can put spacers
How do you like these compared to the Toyos?
I highly recommend them
Do the duals touch? Looking to upgrade tires on my f550 dump. Would like a larger tire to fill wheel well just worried about a larger tire touching under load in rear.
Nope
Are you stock height?
as our son says teeshirt weather lol
Your truck is Raised mine is Not do these tires rub w/o raising and will 285 s fit w/o raising??????
Mine is not raised
I don't mind driving in those conditions but I worry about the dummies out there that don't know what they're doing.
Where did you get them here is NS? I need a set of 6 in the 245/70/19.5's, what's a ballpark price that you paid for yours?
Can’t get them in that size right now
How do you like Ford Super Duty n have they been great with you
Yup
Kinda looks like the Toyo 920

I could t get the 7500 so had to go with the 5000.
@@workplaytv just a quick note, the 7500 bags gave me a better unloaded ride then the 5000's did with minimal air, under 15psi
how much were those tires?
Like $600/tire

So the truck is all stock with that size of tires?
What wheels did you go with for the 265s?
Never mind. Watched again and heard factory wheels.
Those are drive tires only not made for steer position.
Lol ya ok
What’s the plough and length on your F350? Cheers
9’2

Yes

Yes here in Canada

amen!
will you put these on your f550?
Yea but smaller size I’ll stay factory on that truck I’d say
