12:36 holy shit that thing looked like a Cummins accelerating didn’t even pass 2000 RPM’S max torque at low RPM’S excellent can’t wait to see how it pulls
I picked up my 2018 f250 platinum 4 months ago, and i was honestly surprised at the torque curve. It likes to lug, feels almost wrong but it pulls down low like no ones business.
Congrats on the new 2020. Looks great. It will look much better with the lift and new wheels and tires. Glad to hear you say positive things about the power, suspension and seat comfort. Sounds like you're happy you stuck with Ford.
I honestly like how all trucks ride. Some more basic trucks have a bumpy ride, but they all feel solid when going over bumps and potholes. A unibody car feel like it breaks itself apart when you fall in a pothole. I have a 2013 global ford ranger (T6) and to me, that truck rides extremely smooth for what it is, especially with bf goodrich ko2s. Great truck you got there, sir. Put it to good use.
Sweet man. Congrats. I just bought a new to me a 2012 XLT F-250 V8 6.2. It's a truck thus a little bouncy. I can't wait to be in your position to be able to buy a new truck. Congrats.
Congratulations on the new truck. The Gen 3 6.7 is a torque monster ! Can’t wait to see what your long term fuel economy is as well as compare pulling power to the 2019
VERY nice! Thanks for sharing. I was most interested in the transmission change, looks like it is a good move by Ford. Also, don't forget those massage seats!
3:50 it's going to take sometime to get used to saying 2020! 😂 this is my dream truck! Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it and keep us posted on how it's doing! 👍
Do u ever worry about plugging in your trucks throughout the winter? I know the 6.7 and all newer diesels in general are very easy to start even when it’s really cold!
Congratulations on being the first in Nova Scotia to have a new 2020 Super Duty. Enjoyed the overview. Looking forward to the future videos you have planned. I have a 2019 F250 with the diesel, so am very interested in the mods that work versus a lot of money spent on a mod that doesn't yield much for results!
Because they turned in to the biggest pos tire out there. I work at the dealer and see them come through all the time. F150s still have them though. Edges wear quickly on them
Dalton Smith like 10 years ago my dad went through like 2 sets of them on his Titan, they would disintegrate after 15k miles with just normal road driving. Turns out they were the cheapest tire sears offered. After that he got some Bridgestone tires and they lasted all the way up until he got a new truck, was about 50k miles and I’m sure they had a lot more left in them too.
Does it have the snow plow prep package? That affects the height as well. Raises it ~1 inch. And agreed....the Platinum leather seats are a step or 2 above the Lariat.
I was born and raised in Ontario and we love east coasters. Great Canadian people. Nice fleet of trucks. I have a GMC 2020 Denali 3500. I love it but had a couple hiccups. The dpf clogged at 6000kms. I drive it hard with a Plow and salter on also. I’m wondering if the transmission keeps the RPMS too low to burn off soot efficiently. In 6000 kms I’ve used 30 litres of def fluid
jay brown Sounds like a nice truck buddy. They are much bigger than the previous gen. I actually have heard a few people say that about the new GMs having issues with the DPF. I wish I would have gotten the new one with the OCR option.
Why platinum and not lariat? 5000 xtra just for the platinum badge. I know it has some trim and stuff that's standard. Just don't see the 5gs being worth it. Nice truck though. What rear end gear ratio is it?
MrVegaslive 3.55. When I priced out the lariat with the sport package and then the platinum there was only $1400 in difference and I wasn’t getting a few things with the lariat
@@workplaytv I tried pricing both and I'm at 5-6k difference between the 2 trims. Not sure exactly what it may be besides the trailer cameras and such. But, I think I may have figured those in already? I am pricing it out with 7.3 and tremor on the lariat though. Kinda virgin when it come to the various ford trucks trims and packages. GM guy mostly. But, gonna try something different. Even though I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 4x4 6.2 with only 7,000 miles on it. Getting rid of it for couple reasons. Nothing really against it. Just this particular truck, I feel like it's bad luck and I'm superstitious. I don't tow enough that would require 1,000 ft. pounds. Plus, hate what the epa is doing to diesel. Look up IMO 2020. Probably have 6-12 month's of low sulphur diesel stockpiled. A year from now the price could be outrageous?
Maybe you mentioned it and I didn't hear it, but does this truck have adaptive steering? EDIT right after I wrote this comment I heard you say that it has it. But it is NOT a standard option on Platinums. It has to be ordered. Are you sure it has adaptive steering? It's a $1000 option.
those are more like half-gears than full gears. nice truck though, wish they'd sell those here in New Zealand, we're limited to Ford Rangers which are dinky trucks compared to the F-series
You think you had to wait long? Man, I have to wait like 8 months for my platinum to get built haha. Ordered back in October and still waiting on a vin.
Love how they lowered them down on overall height of the truck, but I’m not a fan of lift trucks. I didn’t like the 17-19’s for that reason. Truck and trailer look goofy. Needed to install a lift kit on my horse trailer. But non the less they all look fantastic.
Congrats!! As soon as I saw the window sticker on the back seat I knew it wasn't the one you ordered. Special order vehicles have a green background instead of the blue. Very tempting to pick one up and you aren't helping lol! Can't wait to see what's coming up for it. Gotta admit that i'm gonna miss seeing the f-250 though.
Congrats Tyson!! And finally, a first impression of how the new trans and engines feel from the driver's seat. I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos on the 2020. I'll hopefully be in your shoes this time next year for my 2021 model
Sweet truck. Good to know on the 2017 in regards to reliability. I just bought a 2017 Lariat 250 to pull my camper and replace my 2008 gas Mega Cab. It has 13k miles. Glad to be looking forward to trouble free miles to come 😀. Keep up the good content!
I traded a Lariat Ultimate in on this and when I added all the options to the lariat that I wanted I was within $1500 of the platinum because a lot of stuff came standard on the platinum.
Congrats with the truck. I broke down and bought a 2019 platinum. So far a really love it. I was afraid of the the new 10 speed trans. Just playing it safe lol
Nothing broke lol. I just decided to buy the 2019 instead of waiting for a 2020. The price was right and I am a little worried about the 10 speed transmission in the first year of it being released. Just playing it safe. I did my research and the 2019 have been holding up great.
FX-4 gives you the skid plates in addition to the shocks. I’m going to be interested in seeing how that 10-speed does. I get worried about first-year production stuff. That’s why I grabbed the 2019. I believe the final drive ratio is close to the same, so I felt it didn’t offer enough incentive over the proven 6-speed. It’l take a bit to get used to all the buttons. It took me a week to figure out the steering wheel heater was on the radio! Congrats and best of luck!
workplaytv I’m surprised you noticed that big of a gain from the ‘19 with the Derringer. That should have increased the 19’s HP/Torque to about the same as the ‘20. Must be something in the lower trans gear ratios...
Congratulations getting your new F-350 and beautiful truck! Not sure if you are set on replacing your 2020 F-350 tires with General Grabber A/T X, but it would be interesting to compare it to the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W especially in towing, on-off road, and winter performance. According to Falken's website, the Wildpeak A/T3Ws do come in 37x12.5R20 size, E rated, and is three-peak mountain snowflake rated. However, I am not certain how easily you can attain it where you are. Again, congratulations on your new truck and I look forward to see your future content on it!
@workplaytv I have a 2012 6.7 lariat. I told my wife I will upgrade to a 2020 platinum once yours gets worked and has been fully tested through out the next couple of years!! Looking forward to the content 👊
I expected to see a difference in diesel mpg from 6 to 10 speed automatic. I guess not. If you have a chance do a test 6 vs 10 speed: same distance, same speed. Following your trip from the dealer back home, with the new 10 speed automatic, you are getting same mpg as I drive mine 2018 Lariat under 70 mph in highway. Thank you
I have a 19 f150 limited with the 10 speed and i test drove a 20 350 and i noticed 2nd to 3rd gear would slam hard almost every time. Does yours do that too?
Congrats on the new truck! You have me looking at new trucks after watching your video... Your killin me lol. I have to hold off a little after buying the new Cat exc.
Yes. The torque on its crazy. Have the 4:10 gears and at low speed you can just feel that it wants to tow a battleship.

Wow!! What a beauty! Love the new grill! Can’t wait to see how the truck works out for you
FX4 package includes electronic locking rear diff as well doesn’t it?
Regnar275 Nope I have It in this truck
a HUD (Head-Up display) would be perfect on this truck.
Do you still love the 10 speed?
How long did it take to learn?
Any complaints when towing?
Any complaints when unloading?

Haven’t even watched the whole video but I know this truck is gonna be awesome!
I like the more curved off headlights on inside part of the grille on the 2020s along with the actual grille itself.
Congrats on the truck man! I’d like to upgrade my 2015 f150, but it’ll be awhile before that happens! Keep up the great content!
Branden Lopez Thanks man. Happy new year
At 3:36 he said 2019 ? Probably too excited
Jim Anderson Lol yeah I messed up
That’s ok when you get new toys
Jealous! She's gorgeous buddy. Merry xmas to you!
Congratulations brother you deserve it keep up the awesome work
Please let us know soon if there is an improvement in diesel mileage?
Lariat ultimate?? Like fully loaded Lariat?
Carey C Yeah it’s a package you can add to the Lariat. Gives you slit of stuff the Platinum comes with

😍🤤 That is absolutely beautiful. Love the color choice. Congrats man.
Congrats, now after seeing yours its made me even more so anxious for my order to come in THE WAITING IS KILLING ME!

G D never had an issue
What kind of work you do bro
for a small loan of 90k
Since 1997 87% of Fords are still on the road. The rest made it home.
Why do you have/need so many trucks? Did you win the lottery?
Dan B Haha no I use them all for work my man
another great video packed with info. Thanks for getting this out so fast. I've never been a fan of white trucks until now. It looks great.
Congratulations on being the first in Nova Scotia to have a new 2020 Super Duty. Enjoyed the overview. Looking forward to the future videos you have planned. Congrats on the truck! What your opinion on the 2020 verses the Last couple years of it?
Samuel Rowland My most recent video on my channel is a driving review of both.
Congrats man! Really nice truck!
How would you compare the power to the way the 2017 F250 did with the Banks Power upgrade?
skoffco This is still faster and alittle more responsive
I noticed they're not using goodyear wranglers anymore, no surprise there.
Because they turned in to the biggest pos tire out there. I work at the dealer and see them come through all the time. F150s still have them though. Edges wear quickly on them

WhiteGangster400 They have been using the Michelin on the higher trim trucks for a few years now. Lower trip get the Goodyear
No FX4 package??!!!! Whaaaaaat!!!
Wonder why your window sticker is blue if it was special ordered
. They are green at least mine was and said special order on it..
Gatorguy6x4 I mentioned in the video this isn’t the truck I ordered.
This one does not have the flux capacitor
Does it have the snow plow prep package? That affects the height as well. Raises it ~1 inch. And agreed....the Platinum leather seats are a step or 2 above the Lariat.
Todd A yeah it has the snow plow prep
Very nice truck
Only thing I plan on getting different when I trade my 2012 is grey in color and a long bed
6:05. They gut it ???

MrVegaslive Yeah well the diesel is 10k. I hade the lariat sport package so I got the colour match bumpers and blacked out grill and all that
Workplaytv Do you usually do a 500-1500 mile break in on your new trucks before towing or is that not something you worry about?
L W Well a lot of people say not to worry about it but I like to get 1000 miles on it of just driving before I tow heavy or really step on it.
workplaytv Ya that’s a great idea from what I’ve heard and also seen putting in a couple new gas engines in older trucks. Great plan😉👍
Gorgeous truck glad you went with that instead of the ram. Man I would hate to buy a truck that nice and put a plow on it.
Brad Price Lol I know but it’s how it is

Just picked mine up yesterday. Shifting really hard in 3rd and 4th. You having the same issue??
Matthew That is the only beer I really feel to be honest.
Driving it more today...it definitely 3rd gear. I’m gonna keep an eye on it. May need a trip to the dealer...
Dealer told me it would shift hard for about 75 miles while it was learning and mine did the same. Stoped after about 60 miles
jklewisjkldev wife was just saying that she was pretty sure my F150 did the same thing for the first 100 miles or so

Sam Mco counting on it
What a sweet truck. Can't wait for the details and work videos. Congrats!
Hi beautiful beautiful Ford ! Can I ask you a personal question 😬 what do you do for a living?
Veronica Serrato I own a construction and vegetation management company
workplaytv oh wow! Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos
Does it aggravate you when dealers put their name on the paint? I always have em get the heat gun before I leave the lot.
OSUCharger Hey man that will all be coming off for sure
Beautiful rig man. Glad you're able to get it.
It almost looks like the speaker cover on top is not clipped in fully
Mavy Lol yeah that’s just how it is

Liking the new steering wheel heat button, not finicky trying to find it in climate settings
juddadam2 in the older models if you update your sync it then has it on the home screen
How much brother for F350 ford ?
Do you notice a difference between fx4 and 4x4 package?
charles w Ride wise?

why are the light flashing all time on dash cluster?
LEDs use pulse modulation the human eye can not see but cameras pick up.
Love love that truck man thats what iwant it would due me well I bet you miss it when you traded that in for the 450 .
you're a hard worker man. u deserve them nice trucks. you work those trucks too.
I see at 3:01 the truck have 200 on the dashboard how can that be. I love the truck by the way

Thanks a lot
Why the platinum over the lariat?
I traded a Lariat Ultimate in on this and when I added all the options to the lariat that I wanted I was within $1500 of the platinum because a lot of stuff came standard on the platinum.
Is there a reason it isn't FX4?
Carlos Torres Just the way it was spec. You don’t get much more with FX4 mainly just the skid plates.
workplaytv great looking truck all around.
4.30 Electronic Locking Axle Ratio ?
Zraupp10 3.55. 4.30 is only available in the 7.3 with the SRW trucks.
Curious if the 17 turns different because of the wider tires?
cory ackermann No the steering is now electric assisted
Can’t wait for mine to get here super pumped for you man
Its the ride quality different from an F250?

SOLID VIDEO BRO!
Thank you
Bionicjumpy Future video for sure
Does it sit lower because it’s the 4-4 and not the fx-4
the1timster They lowered all
Of them I guess
One day I WILL have a brand new baby like this. Love the videos!
Nice truck! Can’t wait to see how it tows compared to the 19. What’s the gooseneck towing capacity and is the gvwr still 11500?
Kevin Oakes Yup and like 22k
Do the doors actual line up ? All 4 of my 18’s ,19’s, are off on one side or the other .
ITSALLGOOD 74 Have to Check
I just realized your Canadian.... now I can’t unhear it
Stephen Lozada wow thanks. Very proud Canadian my man
I have a 19 f150 limited with the 10 speed and i test drove a 20 350 and i noticed 2nd to 3rd gear would slam hard almost every time. Does yours do that too?
Sean Laser No I have noticed it maybe once but not every time

Would you say the new F350 rides like a F150?
TheHondaman It’s pretty damn smooth
the reason you're only getting it now is they didnt officially start production until mid November.
Is it just me or is that dash flashing like crazy why does it do that
ZEUS It’s how it comes through the camera
Glad you went with the White! That white f550 is a beast too. I might be biased I have a white f250
What is the gear ratio of this truck?
3.55
Yes you picked a good truck for you so very good truck
Why is your dashboard blinking like that are you not in the US you say kilometer instead of miles
Larry j.w I’m in Nova Scotia and it’s just how it comes through the camera.
