I hope it has the Snowplow Prepackaged. Because if you add a snowplow on one without the snowplow prep you just void the warranty. Can we see the weight rating sticker and the window sticker with all the options mainly.
carmas54 There is a video showing a Ford engineer discussing the Diesel. I believe he said that the 'Medium duty' trucks in Ford's line Up (which includes the F550) have a reduced power rating. This greatly increases their longevity. That is needed since they will always be working hard to move so much mass.
Matthew I'm not sure if duallys are even offered with a 3.55. I think I saw a chart from Ford which showed 4.10 and 3.73 as the offerings for duallys. In contrast, the single rear wheel Diesels are offered with ratios down to 3.31.

So I’ve been wondering have you done any towing with the truck yet? I feel with the 10 speed trans, it’ll will want to keep searching for a gear it likes which would be an issue with towing.
I realize it has a locker in the rear axle but what's upfront? Is it open or a limited slip? Also what made go with the auto 4x4 as opposed to the manual? I like the idea that you have the option to manually lock your hubs but what would be ideal is a auto locking hub with the manual option and a manual shift on the floor. Either way beautiful truck sir.
My 2020 did not come with FX4 package ($450 option) either. Ford did add the skid plates ($200 option) on my truck. But another difference when you don't get the FX4 package is that the truck doesn't have the "Hill Decent" option so no "Hill Decent" button beside the camera button.
Great video! Exactly the color and model that I want to order, only in the Tremor package... Does the 2020 come with a turbo brake? Also, I didn’t see in the video where you mentioned the updated Headlamps and fog lamps for the 2020 mid-cycle refresh. They sure are nice! (Just would’ve been A LOT nicer if they used the Tremor air dam on the F-250/350) May I also ask why you didn’t choose the Tremor package when you ordered your FX4? I get that you want to lift later, and while I can say that I had a Back Country Kit with Fox 2.0’s on my ‘16, and I appreciate the hell out of Carli products and service, do you think Carli will be much different than an OEM Ford Tremor package? Good luck with the truck!!!
Hey yeah the new headlights are great! I didnt get the tremor because it would have been a waste of money. I am swapping out all of those parts and wheels anyway. Carli is great cant wait!
Loved how tall the 17-19s are, sad to hear these are a little shorter. Can you get it without the trailer assist knob or does it automatically come with some other package? I hate those things to be honest.
Good info... I’m just about to order a 2020. My ‘17 Lariat Ultimate seats are hard, so I’m glad to see the Platinum offers softer foam. You can’t get everything with Platinum though...I really like the blackout sport package which isn’t available on that model. I doubt there’s much of a difference between the transmissions mpg wise.
I think the 2020 should get slightly better mileage because; 1) Ford revised a LOT of engine components for 2020, which they claim will improve fuel efficiency, including - turbocharger, intercooler system, intake manifold, fuel rails, heads, and pistons. 2) The 10 speed's top gear is about 7% taller than the 6 speed's top gear. I have noticed on my 2017 F-350 that when not towing/hauling, it has plenty of reserve power in top gear and would benefit from a taller gear. That might be even more the case for 2020, as the revised engine has 13.5% more torque. (1050 vs. 925 lb-ft for the 2017)
Is this getting a banks? Is the height difference do to lack of fx4 /payload plow package? I'd be giddy with that mileage to be honest. Curious what it'll be on the gassers
What undercoating do you use? I hear krown is big in Canada. I have always used ziebart but more people are saying that oiling ( krown, nhoh, fluid flims, etc) is better. Thanks for your input. Just bought a 2019 f150 and trying to keep it looking good.
I'm curious. Why were the dash lights flashing? I expected the 350 to appear to ride rougher. Looked like a pretty smooth ride to me. Impressive. I don't recall anyone in my family except for one cousin ever buying a Ford for four generations. Dig the truck, by the way. I have driven a Silverado Duramax 2500. Wasn't crazy about it. I look forward to trying one of these. I like the looks of the Ford much better; both inside and out.
Question on the steering; my wife and i were looking at a 19 f250 plat and we ended up NOT buying it because the steering was SO HEAVY it was hard for her to turn the wheel in tight spaces like parking lots or performing a 3 point turn. In your last video you said the steering felt smoother i believe, but do you think that the steering is lighter (easier for my dainty 110lb wife) to turn while performing a 3pt turn or in a small parking lot? She liked the Chevy/Ram steering over the ford as it was much much lighter and drove more like a car which was easy for her to turn. If its that much lighter with the adaptive steering changes then we'll go get a 2020 f250 soon!
I want to want a Super Duty... but my 2018 F-150 platinum already tows 12,700 lbs and gets low 20’s mpg. Hard to make the case for this truck unless I get a much bigger travel trailer. Sounds like I need a bigger travel trailer.
Greg Weik If you are towing 13,000 lbs in your 150 you are way over on your payload. The base model 2wd regular cab is rated for that. Not a fully loaded 150. Bug sounds like a beautiful truck.
workplaytv -I didn’t say I was towing 13k pounds, I said my truck is rated for it. I only tow about 4K pounds regularly. I believe you missed my point, in any case.
workplaytv -no, it literally is rated at 12,700 all in. Include the weight of all occupants and cargo in that, and that’s the number. My point is the step up in terms of towing (not payload) is nominal to a super duty but with daily sacrifices in size, mpg, etc.
I've just seen a video of the f150 cattleman Edition. 2020 model. I'm wondering if there's a f250 and f350 version. Cattleman is for the working man. Farm and ranch use. I drive forklifts for a living lol but I still want a cattleman. It just suits my personality. I work hard.I'm tough too.
Love the videos! Much appreciation for making them! If you get around to it, can you measure height differences between the ‘19 350 Vs the ‘20? Thanks!
Just curious, but I have an 18 F350 Platinum SB. What’s your door sticker say as far as cargo capacity on that truck? Since you don’t have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package. I have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package and mine says 3500 pounds.
The dealership I am friends with have both a 7.3 and 6.7 diesel Tremor lariat on order for me. I appreciate the mileage info..that's what I was looking for. I presently have a 15 platinum with a 6" lift and 37's I am trading.
the grill looks a bit like my 19 F-150 Limited i had 6 months ago..it sure does look like the platinum grill though for sure. Enjoy your new ride bro..
Are you aware of "Engineering Test Mode", where you can adjust the Lie-O-Meter to make it better reflect real world MPG? From the factory, it is set at 1000. I dialed it back to 960, and it is closer to what I calculate when I fill up. I can post a link to tell you how to get into it if you need it...
@@workplaytv ruclips.net/video/GPBuHCrJ7wA/видео.html. Just make sure your doors are closed and you start the truck when you do the sequence, or it will not go into ETM…
Great video! 👍The good thing about the torque is it’s 50 more ft lb at 200 lower rpm than the ram 😉(1050 ft lb at 1600 rpm vs 1000 at 1800 on Ram) also there’s a major difference on F250 vs Ram 2500 (all low output along with a ton of 3500s) F250=1050 ft lb and 475 hp. All Ram 2500 n a lot of 3500= 850 ft lb and 370 hp. That’s 200 ft lb and 105 hp difference!!!!😉
9 out of 10 ppl will still prefer to tow with a Cummins. Can't beat the inline 6. Might bring the torque on sooner but it drops off sooner. Torque curve is what matters. Just spec'ed a big truck, went with the X15 over the X12 for this same reason. Better torque curve. This is a bad ass truck don't get me wrong. But there's a reason the majority of hot shot guys have a Cummins.
Jeff Orr That’s changing fast as far as hotshot goes and actually on torqued curve the reverse is true Cummins has always had its torque down low rpm and v8 starting in a little higher and keeping it higher at higher rpm and now 2020 power stroke (actually 6.7 Power Stroke as a whole) has both lower and higher if you check out real life torque curves and tow results check out this hotshot guy that went from 2 2019 rams to a 2020 Power Stroke 😉ruclips.net/video/wZGa9beMGho/видео.html
Jeff Orr In-line 6 being better for towing has been an out of date statement now for about 8-10 years even though it takes awhile for everyone to catch on even though it was true back in the manual transmission and 5.9 Cummins vs 7.3 international Power Stroke days but 6.7 Powerstroke and L5P Duramax vs 6.7 Cummins vs the new V8 is actually showing the Cummins lagging in real world 2019 testing and reality and actual reliability too for that matter is very equal
@@lw6735 I'd have to disagree. How many big trucks you know running a V8 diesel? Go to UCC, scheids, PRI, any big pulling and drag events. Cummins is still in the front.
Oh and the big 3 were all put on the Dyno as brand new stock trucks. Guess who had the lowest REAL WORLD NUMBERS? The powerstroke. Real world numbers not advertised numbers.
MrVegaslive Just from the factory it’s gone now. I usually see 2-3 mpg gain. Everything just loosens up. It’s like laying in bed for a year and then trying to run. Haha
Does the hitch come with the 2” reducer or is it 2.5” hitch without the Reducer? Thanks great vid. I ordered new tremor with the Godzilla. I currently have an f150 so I need to order new receiver with bigger drop that’s why I’m asking
How do you feel the cameras work while plowing? I’m waiting for my truck to get to the dealership from the factory. Just curious to hear your opinion I also use boss v plow.
omg i want to see the what unloaded SD 7.3 gaser is getting for MPG i need a super duty to pull my trailers but i dont pull them often i just want to know if its going to break me in fuel if i but one like the 6.2 did hell i still use my old 6.9 to move my trailers because it atleast gets 16 mpg that 2016 6.2 f250 pretty much just sits in the driveway because its 9.5-10 mpg stabes my in the side
Man 16 MPG on such a massive truck still good and TBH truck are not built to get 30 MPG there built to either pull or go off road. 2020 Truck compared to a 2000 truck is a hell of difference fuel efficiency wise and power and capabilities.
Damn, I’m thinking this new powerstroke! With my 19’ Limited Cummins I just did a 65 mile drive 70/30 hwy/cty and hand calculated 20.8mpg, dash said 20.6. I’m looking forward to seeing more mpg runs from you. The 18’ and older Cummins you could hear the turbo, but I cannot on these 19’ and newer Cummins.
2500 Cummins will get better mpg than the 3500 with the asin, 2500 are detuned with much less power that the asin package but funny powerstroke aren’t meant for great mpg mine gets maybe 20 highway lol
Nice! What Gear ratio did you get? Does the truck start in first gear or can it start in second? Can you touch on the maintenance schedule in the manual? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really thinking of getting one.
3.55 gears typically it has been starting off in 1st but then jumps to 3rd and 5th it seems like. I don’t really go by the manual much. I go by how hard I have been working my truck.

Timothy Vitale Heh man you will
Be happy when you drive the new one. At slow speeds it is much lighter now. It’s is electric assisted.
@mtrujillo1973 explains why the 2017 we drove the steering was significantly lighter!
Bug sounds like a beautiful truck.
ruclips.net/video/_EkPfuKzdOU/видео.html check out my video to help understand
workplaytv -I didn’t say I was towing 13k pounds, I said my truck is rated for it. I only tow about 4K pounds regularly. I believe you missed my point, in any case.
Greg Weik No worries but your specific truck isn’t actually rated for that is what I am saying.
workplaytv -no, it literally is rated at 12,700 all in.
Black shark swimmer Lol I’m
Not sure. I’m sure at some point they will.
Love the videos! Much appreciation for making them! If you get around to it, can you measure height differences between the ‘19 350 Vs the ‘20? Thanks!
BigDiesel67 1 inch
Just curious, but I have an 18 F350 Platinum SB. What’s your door sticker say as far as cargo capacity on that truck? Since you don’t have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package. I have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package and mine says 3500 pounds.
509Mafia 3445 I believe
workplaytv not much difference then. Appreciate it! Congrats on your new truck.
The dealership I am friends with have both a 7.3 and 6.7 diesel Tremor lariat on order for me. I appreciate the mileage info..that's what I was looking for. I presently have a 15 platinum with a 6" lift and 37's I am trading.
Look very neat man..dont make it so wild...it look so nice stock..enjoy..by the way happy new year ..waiting for those videos..regards..
the grill looks a bit like my 19 F-150 Limited i had 6 months ago..it sure does look like the platinum grill though for sure.
Nope I didn’t know that.
What's up with the sticker on the mirror?
How will mileage get better after break in? What exactly changes to increase it?
MrVegaslive Just from the factory it’s gone now. I usually see 2-3 mpg gain. Everything just loosens up. It’s like laying in bed for a year and then trying to run. Haha
Does the hitch come with the 2” reducer or is it 2.5” hitch without the Reducer? Thanks great vid. I ordered new tremor with the Godzilla. I currently have an f150 so I need to order new receiver with bigger drop that’s why I’m asking
Matt Namey Yeah it comes with the reducer.
Thanks
3” receiver w 2.5 reducer
How do you feel the cameras work while plowing? I’m waiting for my truck to get to the dealership from the factory. Just curious to hear your opinion I also use boss v plow.
Parker Hays I like the backup camera with plowing that’s pretty much it.
@@workplaytv Thanks!
We need a 0-60 time for this bad boy! And hello from Pictou County!
Chad BassMaster Hey man you bet that will be coming soon!! Awesome buddy get ready for the storm Wednesday. Lol
Hey man what was your reasoning with not going with the 3500 Cummins? Did those interiors not persuade you in that direction?
James Self Nah I trust the Fords
So how does the 2020 power compare to the 2017/2019 with the Derringer. Power/Torque should be similar between the Derringer 2019 and stock 2020.
jnuechte I find thd 2020 still quicker and faster response
What is the mileage tracker app that you use?
On the market for new 6.7 but I’ve been seeing more 3:31 gear ratio. Curious if that is a big deal because of 10 speed
Nah would be fine
@@workplaytv I saw your gas mileage video so I might still search for the 3:55
I pull a Rockwood roo with Golfcarts. 7000lbs
Does it have ambient lighting, I heard that it was taken out for 2020 ..?
david yallier I’ll
Have to check it out and get back to ya. Haven’t even driven in the night yet. Lol
Normal driving not towing at what speed does it generally go into 10th gear, it looked like 50 mph??
bill84345 Yeah around that
Where do isn't the husky mats?
What brand are those electric steps?
Beautiful truck but do you think you may get a F-250 2020 work truck with a 7.3 liter Godzilla engine?
Nah I need the diesels for towing. Think I am good for now. My fleet is very new.
Nah I’m good for awhile now. Lol
It doesn't come with an Armani tux?
Wow!! Impressive. Congratulations on the new truck. 2nd best , but nice. 👍🏻
Lone Wolf Hahahaha yeah yeah
mtrujillo1973 Yeah your right. Ford probably 3rd best. Lol
Lone Wolf Hahaha smart ass
so what is the gear
axle radio do have on the differencial
omg i want to see the what unloaded SD 7.3 gaser is getting for MPG i need a super duty to pull my trailers but i dont pull them often
i just want to know if its going to break me in fuel if i but one like the 6.2 did hell i still use my old 6.9 to move my trailers because it atleast gets 16 mpg
that 2016 6.2 f250 pretty much just sits in the driveway because its 9.5-10 mpg stabes my in the side
Is this oxford white or star white? BEAUTIFUL TRUCK! :)
Starr white. Thanks
workplaytv Thank you! Love the great content 🔥
So how’s the truck doing ? Any update on the mpg?
Daniel Warren Truck is doing great. It’s on 37s and still getting 18-20
Ok now I understand that the 2020 is better.
All 10 speeds use the 3:55
Justin Turdhole You can get 3.31 in the 10 speed
workplaytv my bad , the last time I read up they were all going to be 3:55
Can you please make another 17 videos about this truck? Thanks.
Any issues with the reliability on these Diesel engines? Thanks
Nope so far so good
@@workplaytv thanks for the reply. I just keep hearing people been having issues with them. I rather get the diesel over the 7.3. I hear they’re having issues with them. 🤦♂️
Why’d you choose platinum instead of limited? You can’t go wrong with either. I’m just curious.
Andrew Munoz Wasn’t really into the light interior and for the $2k difference in price to me it was worth it. I also like the grill on the platinum more
workplaytv Got it. Beautiful truck. Congrats!
U know how to pick um for sure!
Bad to the bone brother keep up the awesome work you deserve it shes beautiful
What’s the black things on top of the truck?

Cell tower service is where it’s at- trucks are sick....just found ya on YT

Nice to see you finally got it, I was worried about the regens with the new 10 speed keeping RPM’s so low, I ordered mine with OCR just incase, I don’t always have the time nor do I want to “DRIVE TO CLEAN”, my 18’ I used FORSCAN to enable it. Have you ever seen the DRIVE TO CLEAN message on any of your trucks? And do you have OCR on your 550?
Ford F-250 6.7 Super The only truck I have seen that message is on my 550 and it says cleaning exhaust filter.
workplaytv thanks for the response, maybe I’m overly cautious, my wife says I overcompensate.......I mean overthink! Lol. I’ve never performed OCR, I absolutely love how the 10 speeds works, they have done something with the suspension on the 2020’s and not telling anyone, because mine rides way better than my 18, I did order the max trailer package, takes the F250 GVWR to 11,500 vs 10k, changes gcvwr from 23k to 30k, although I’ll never tow that much, our TT is only 11k, I just like more
Ford F-250 6.7 Super Always better to have more truck than you need! Good decision.
Love the vid bro🙏🏻
13:40 - Yes!! Carli FTW! Hope you go with Kings in the kit.
Andrew Hensley I won’t be going with kings. The kings are made for off-roading I won’t be doing much of that. The fox will do what I need for now.
@@workplaytv I do here you loud and clear, but you ARE off road quite a bit :) I am curious to know what the difference will be with the Fox components vs King in the same kit - since Carli tunes both custom for their various kits and the intended use.
