Hi Nadia...great tutorial as usual. The ads were no big deal...just wait a few seconds then skip them. What I liked most about this hat was the flaps and tassels. They can be used on lots of other kinds of hats too!

I love your video and teaching is very easy to follow. I just have one question to ask and that is can you use Red Heart Medium 4 weight yarn for this same pattern but not using the chunky yarn? Do you have a pattern to go by for using the 4 medium weight yarn for this pattern and the size hook?

I have size 4 yarn. Will that change the size of the hat drastically? And if so how do I make it to where it comes out the right size?
I had fun crocheting this pattern but it ended up super huge! What did I do wrong? I used the same yarn as you as well as the same size hook. I’m a very tight crocheter so I was surprised it came out so big

I made this hat but I used a size N Armor hook & it turned out so much bigger than yours! I don't know how . Mine also looks squared at the top.
I would try using one size down bc Myn did the same thing not happy..

I used a size N also and mine came out sooo big! Love the pattern though, I will remake this with a smaller size hook!
Jessie Gilligan did the hat turn out smaller using the smaller hook or was it still on the bigger side? I made it using the n hook and it was very big. just curious
My hat did seem bigger than i thought it'd be. It was also squarish on top. Maybe an I hook???

A small suggestion: you can do small clips of how to do each row, then come back to show how to do the end of the row, it may make the video a bit shorter. There were quite a few commercials as well.
But I do like your idea for this hat plus it helped me in more than one way 😃 thank you for sharing ❤️
