@burgadahz17 Cumulus cloud shadows are hideous. They look like giant sponges that have been used to clean a toilet floor. And that's with Ultra quality and an RTX 4080. So yeah. I also have a 55" Oled TV. Maybe they look fine on a 22 inch monitor at 1080p ?

I hope you fixed and eliminated the ground avatar personel walking through aircraft and not lining up tugger equipment properly on the nose gear of aircraft. Very irritating and unrealistic!!
I still can't wait for the career mode in 2024! I will say though, as far as 2020, the FW Condor is well worth picking up. It flies like a plane half it's size, and is fun to just do some casual regional flights in. We're still waiting for the 707 though! It got passed up months ago, and is definitely missed in sim!
You should talk to the government and persuade them to give more data! Come guys, you must know the deal by now. Governments make this data available or not.

None of the past Microsoft Flight Simulators have destruction physics. This new version has even more tie-ins with aircraft manufacturers, so they are even less likely to see there planes damaged. Maybe it's an XBox game crowd thing, which is pathetic, but I never set out to fly intended to crash anyway. The way I see it, and some might disagree, but it's simulator trying to entertain not an entertainment product trying to be a simulator.
Dunno about the walking around stuff. When i'm in flightsim and have my yoke set up and everything, i don't exactly feel like it'd be a great use of my time to switch to controller and aimlessly stroll around. One for the console folks, i suppose. And eh, 2024 seems interesting nonetheless.
Having a decent atc, realistic weather/clouds/winds/visibility, shared MP cockpit, voip, traffic, damage model, fires and bird strikes, water dynamics, avionics better than an ipad app, routing/navigation tools is certainly more important than walking on foot on a FLIGHT simulator. All things we never got on the unfinished MSFS2020 paid beta.

Hm, well yes, i hadn't thought of that. :p Though i would say, now that you've brought it up, if they're gonna add walking around, i'd like to see that function at least get some use with support for interactions with external elements of the aircraft. Think A2A, checking control surfaces, removing tiedowns and chocks etc. Not expecting to se that sort of thing on vanilla aircraft, but laying the foundation for that kind of thing so 3rd party devs can include it without too much hassle would be neat.
@@captaincasual7239 now that walking around is going to be a thing, and they confirmed the built in tablet will be useable outside of the aircraft if I remember rightly, that opens the door to other devs adding interactable elements outside the aircraft without the need for as much programming. Personally I hope A2A tweaks their walkaround feature to have it be more natural instead of set camera positions that are jumped to.
The graphics are suppsoed to be improved from 2020. HOWEVER they look worse!. In 2020, you couldnt tell the different between real and fake alot of the time. im 2024 it looks like a video game now. just looks fake. im really disappointed actually
Flight Simulator isn’t like an average game IP, it’s like Halo, but a lot older of an established Microsoft IP and now part of their Game Pass incentives, so that would be a hell frozen over scenario.

fix the patchwork bing maps particularly in more remote places, fix the north and south pole issues, fix the basics
