The game size never bothered me, the the flakey system that updates is awful. Every 3 or 4 updates wrecked my sim requiring full de-reinstall, taking days to re download all the assets multiple times due to corrupted files, then re setting up all my cockpit hardware. I have not played 2020 in weeks because the last update broke it (again) so the game crashes every time I go to main menu, and no taxi ribbon (the only assist I use).
In case you haven’t heard, the sim is getting a new physics engine, we have better physics, soft body physics, better thermals, wake turbulence, I believe we have cloud turbulence, etc.
Thanks for the video on the longest running video game franchise in history, but the word is "aircraft" not "aircrafts." It's both singular and plural, just like "sheep" ... which you also added an uneeded s on the end of.
This title has received great praise, but have you noticed that despite the fantastic technology incorporated into it, the developers have not addressed one of the biggest immersion breakers in both the 2020 and 2024 versions? This immersion issue is that helicopters appear as winged airplanes to online players. It seems that none of the reviews have pointed out this giant middle finger to the helicopter simmer community.
NO! 6:50 pushing streaming is a no from me, you'll either offer a full digital download or physical discs. I will not buy into streaming. I DO NOT and WILL NOT buy into streaming. MUST be physical or available on my local storage. Streaming means to keep you broke by market fluctuations and they can raise prices at will.
@@newarknj3604 No, it would 2.5 petabytes. As of today no internet ISP can stream such amounts of data yet and people who have data caps won't be able to play. Most systems won't be able to fully render the detail in full, so it's pointless to have such detailed scenery. It's entirely pointless fullstop. We've seen how greedy Disney, Netflix and others are getting with pricing, streaming isn't a good future.
@@newarknj3604 It's 2.5 petabytes, you will not be able to experience the detailed environment in full detail, ever. It will still be highly compressed and lower res. Many people will not be able to stream the amount of data required, due to ISP data caps and slow data speeds. They are pushing streaming limits that the average consumer still can't get full access to use.

4:00 "Hell you can even see cows and sheeps with helicopters"...Cows can fly helicopters!??
Finally a career mode in a flight sim. The one thing that's been lacking for too long.
It’s not ‘aircrafts’, just like it’s not ‘legos’!
6:50 that’s actually great :D. I was thinking of getting a 2TB just for this game but this changes everything.
Ok so I can walk around my plane. But will I still see the pilots in their seats ?
Day 7k asking them to add realistic crashes
Did he seriously say "sheeps"? Omg 😂
Ok so it wasn’t just me. Aircrafts was bad enough. Sheeps is just shameful
Will you be able to transfer DLC from 2020 to 2024 ??
wow this makes 2020 look like a beta
2024 is technically what 2020 is supposed to be fully finished.. I think
I just hope the mapping bugs for the turtle beach v1 stick have been solved and the all the ui bugs have been fixed
Spoilers you fly a plane
We know
@@Devondavis-fm2dz just in case someone didn’t know
Boeing: you try to fly a plane.
Spoilers you are a moron
I belive you land at the end

Wow they are really stretching this video to make it last 8min 02sec
Can we Land in Area 51 👽
yes?
Well. Sure. That's the easy part though.
Yeah, and now you'll be able to land in North Korea and walk around, as well.
Theses differences are very vague. Tell us 2024 has "this", but no details on specifically how they are different doesn't help.
I like how he completely neglect all the stuff that av geeks like. Such as a walkaround, more realistic cockpits, more realistic flight model, etc.
Essentially a free marketing video for MS. Mentions nothing we haven't already known for half a year.
You’d be surprised at how many people have been living under a rock.
@@EmeryE2
You're probably right about that. Still no idea why this would be recommended over the hundreds of better researched videos though.
@@a5cent algorithm is shite.
Would be nice if they implement a mission where we can fly throughout hurricanes to gather data
I think they have that already
This...career mode. Sign me up
Nobody is talking about City Building close-up.
This looks amazing
Video for casuals.

When is it out?
November 19
Aircraft look real. The people not so much. Specially when they move.
Think i might give this game a try
Feel like they took a page out of Forza Horizon and it’s looking good
its not aircrafts, its aircraft. aircraft is singular and plural 🙄
Also drive around maybe?

Americans no speak good.
So... no nothing new if you followed all the other videos on youtube....
The plural of sheep is sheep! Fyi!
1 sheep = 125 FPS, 25 Sheeps = 30 FPS

I'm pretty sure that's been fixed in 2024
Yes this is the biggest immersion breaker
Nice

Makes no sense, find a SSD with 30 petabytes and you'll be good to go. The game have the entire planet with crazy details.
