Essentially scenario base training. I'm a real pilot and I'm excited for it. The only other element I would really like to see is voice activated voice interactive ATC
I agree with you. I was flying around Boston and I didn’t see the Encore Casino there and they were using old data. I was super disappointed with that because I wanted to see the casino in Microsoft flight simulator in real time.
@@miketate2667 maybe they have optimized the "jump to" option. There is a option in mfsf2020 to jump to any point in your flight (if you used the ingame flightplanner). So after reaching your cruzingaltitude you can jump to the TOD, but it is buggy and not always working. I hope they improve this feature in MSFS2024!

The game size never bothered me, the the flakey system that updates is awful. Every 3 or 4 updates wrecked my sim requiring full de-reinstall, taking days to re download all the assets multiple times due to corrupted files, then re setting up all my cockpit hardware. I have not played 2020 in weeks because the last update broke it (again) so the game crashes every time I go to main menu, and no taxi ribbon (the only assist I use).
STill nothing about contaminated runways, showcasing how ice and water affects taxi, takeoff and landing performance yet we can take pictures of ai or static animals...I really hope thick clouds finally reduce visibility to several feet in the same way we experience IRL.
I want a Flight Simulator, I don't want a game ........... I downloaded the Premium Deluxe version on Day 2, and have not been able to run it yet ........ MSFS 2024 makes me appreciate MSFS 2020 that much more .......... and after I deleted over 200 GB out of MSFS 2020, and all of the World Updates, the Sim runs a lot better now

This is grammatically incorrect. Like fish versus fishes. When discussing multiple types of aircraft, the plural becomes aircrafts. eg Piper Cub, Cessna 182, and Airbus A320 are aircraft, however airships, hot air balloons, helicopters and gliders are different types of aircrafts.

Most systems won't be able to fully render the detail in full, so it's pointless to have such detailed scenery. It's entirely pointless fullstop. We've seen how greedy Disney, Netflix and others are getting with pricing, streaming isn't a good future.

In case you haven’t heard, the sim is getting a new physics engine, we have better physics, soft body physics, better thermals, wake turbulence, I believe we have cloud turbulence, etc.
This title has received great praise, but have you noticed that despite the fantastic technology incorporated into it, the developers have not addressed one of the biggest immersion breakers in both the 2020 and 2024 versions? This immersion issue is that helicopters appear as winged airplanes to online players. It seems that none of the reviews have pointed out this giant middle finger to the helicopter simmer community.

That's where Beyond ATC comes in.
Hopefully like the previous game it allows you to play offline without streaming assets. You should never be tethered to the cloud...

I flew over my kids school in MSFS 2024 and it shown their old school from years ago before it was rebuilt. They are using old maps.
