      'Mystery To Me' is still my favorite 'FM' record.
      I'm sure Cheryl Crow is a nice person and all, but how she has ever managed to be anything more than a local pub singer will always be one of life's great mysteries.

      The Welch era will always be overlooked as the bridge between the Green era and the Buckingham-Nicks era. I agree: it seems ridiculous to not mention his name once. No one mentioned him, not even Mick Fleetwood.

      Some of those bands won’t get in until Paul Shaffer dies. Anyone he doesn’t like won’t get in bc he controls who is nominated. So despite induction being the result of a legitimate vote they can only be voted on if they’re nominated and THAT is controlled by ONE man (and a complete & total a**hole at that). He’s lucky he got to work with Dave Letterman otherwise no one would know who he is because they sure as hell don’t know him for his music.

    Such a full circle moment. Sheryl was there for both Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Induction. Then to see Stevie perform with Sheryl and Peter Frampton on Friday night when Sheryl herself got inducted into The Rock & Roll Frame. 🎸😆🤘🏼

Didn’t Stevie mention about not scratching your head and touching your hair? I do admire Sheryl but Jeez! if you can sing in front of thousands, put your hands in your pockets, FGS! As for Sheryl Crowe... the RRHOF committee should bow their heads in shame!
      Dhani Harrison was fantastic in welcoming ELO. He actually played with and grew up knowing Jeff Lynne. Thats the way it should be as far as introductions are concerned. They have to know the artist or band well.

    Garbage speech. Fleetwood Mac is NOT Stevie nicks and shawls.They are so much more than that and always will be. She's just simping over her almost throughout the whole 7 mins. Barely any mention of Buckingham, who was the real architect of the band during their most famous lineup. Don't even think about the older lineups LMAO, practically zero mentions of Danny Kirwan, Bob Welch, Jeremy Spencer etc. and all their phenomenal contributions to the band.
    Just take one listen to some albums like Future Games, Then Play On, or Bare Trees that weaved together unique playing and songwriting. Peter Green gets a decent mention but she just talks about herself in relation to his music. I honestly doubt she's even listened to any of the band's 9 albums from 1968-1974, with the exception of "Spare Me a Little" that gets a measly mention in this dumpster fire of an induction. Shame on you, what a disrespect to all the talented musicians of this band.

    Sheryl Crow may be able to sing, but she can't deliver a speech for shit. Embarrassing to have such a legendary band inducted into the HOF with such a poor presenter. I am sure no one commented on this fact, as it may not be "politically correct", but I call like I see it. And truth be told (if you could get an honest opinion from the band), they would say that her presentation was poor as well.

    • @andrewb4470
      @andrewb4470 3 года назад +1

      They point is not to have a good public speaker who can't play or sing giving a speech. Sheryl Crow may not be a good speaker, but she is a very good musician and singer, and that, along with being a great fan of FM (obviously known in music circles), as well as playing the same genre of music, no doubt led the RRHOF to ask her to induct them.

    • @andrewb4470
