@@benjamingruder4875 Yes! The entire song consists of two versions of the F chord and the G chord. The verses are F- and G-major; the chorus is F-major7 to G-major (and a few variations of G-major, like G5, etc.) But it's so awesomely arranged. I've been hearing it since I was a kid when it first came out on the radio. And, I've played keyboards in a rock band over ten years (although I never attempted this song until today). I don't know, Lanie kills it singing this song, she is pretty kick ass also! Just like Steve Perry, no one will ever match him but the guy who took his place sounds REALLY CLOSE to the original!!
Stevie Nicks lyrics in these songs are unmatched. Fleetwood Mac to this day still gets me through drives on my job. I'm 45 yrs old and this music was before my time, but I'm a 2nd generation Fleetwood Mac fan through my mom. 😍😍😍😍
Their more to the story, they were togther as lover at before fleewood and even this song they are both writer , she talking about he say he was his freedom and they did broke up but still played on. And they was useing lyric to say how they feel. She talk about this try find it, in an interview.
Try checking out the band and guy singer Eric burden and the animals, he could sing sort bluest rock his own style and he had a deep voice that very unusual and they had so many hits he still alive and singing yet sane time as the Beatles He was one of kind too.
It's great to see so many young people being introduced to this sort of music. This song came out when I was 1 (I'm 44 now). Truly excellent songwriting and musicianship, and great to see a whole new generation appreciating it. Songs like WAP are fun and all, but this sort of music just has soul.

I know everyone is commenting about the guy that lead them here, but this has actually given me an opportunity to be introduced to this group's absolutely breathtaking music. The 70s can never compare to any other decade...
I think my favorite part of the song is when she sings 'It's only right that you should play the way you feel it'. Stevie Nicks sings it so beautifully. My favorite Fleetwood Mac song. I used to play this over and over when I was 11; it goes to show you great music transcends aĺl generations.

You have no idea how good they are. People rave about Taylor Swift writing about her bad relationships. Stevie Nicks wrote songs about how much of an asshole her boyfriend was, and made him stand next to her and play the guitar. It's some of their best work. Might I suggest Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as your next venture.
Great songs are timeless!! It’s magic when all the instruments and voices come together in a great song. Have you seen / heard the Irish band, the Corr’s do a cover version of this song? It is pretty amazing too!! Andrea Corr’s vocals are great as well as her sister Sharon’s violin playing. ruclips.net/video/DQu64PeFDnk/видео.htmlsi=MfZFGEo-8Ddn5sao
I just turned 69 and this is from “in my day” .... still gives me goosebumps and think it’s just balls ass funny a guy on a skateboard brought it back to the top 20!

Surprisingly quite a few of my friends and myself listen to Fleetwood Mac, and we're all in 20's. It really depends what your parents listened to growing up imo.
Incredibly this song is only two chords ... as a musician this i am in awe, shows you how great the vocal arrangement is ... masters at their craft in every way ...
I’ve been searching for this song for a long time. I’m so thankful my parents raised me on good music.🎵 This song reminds me of my childhood, and the good old times.
hey if tiktok is going to make any song viral again, i’m so thrilled it’s this one lol! I had the privilege of seeing Fleetwood Mac last year and I can’t express enough how magical they are! a truly timeless band! :)
I fucking love Metal, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, etc, etc... But this song man... I fucking sing it with my heart out, perfection 👌🏻
Only in Fleetwood Mac could a lead singer write a breakup song about her guitarist, and get him to play and sing it with her on stage. Those are artists, truly dedicated to their music.

You know I’m circa your era, I cannot remember when I first heard it, but remember listening to it a lot in the mid 90s. Recently the Denmark Badminton’s open championships I think or it’s the french, anyways a week or two weeks ago, they were blaring this song during the intervals and it’s always in the background. Today I finally succumb to my need to look for the old video. Also can’t remember the words, so earlier today, listen to a video with lyrics. This song is so deceptively light yet very deep.
Dude, that is perfect. Stephanie Lynn "Stevie" Nicks did an awesome job with her sultry vocals on this song. Anyone who does not like it isn't worth having a relationship with. Not to mention that Stevie was ridiculously hot back then. Dreams is one of my favorite songs of all time.
I generally hate TikTok, but doggface's skateboard video actually managed to get this song to rechart in the US at #21 with the potential to rise in the coming weeks So thanks TikTok for introducing people to this classic
It's funny how people only find music from the 70's and 80's "cool" when someone does a cool video with the song in it! People used to say I'm a nerd for listening to this same song when I was in my teens... I guess now it's ok to go back in time lol
Same I hate tik tok because that's all that people do instead of working. But doggface's tiktok took me away with that sweet classic song that I nvr head off.
They used to play Fleetwood Mac more on the radio even around a decade ago. I love Stevie's voice almost operetta, but country like. Such a talented, soft rock band.
Their only number 1, which at the time was the longest running #1 ever. This song punctuated that entire summer for me because it was ubiquitous. It is with me today.
This song’s ratings went up like never before - skateboard 🛹 dude should get an award 🥇 or make him blow up . He was a champ and sooo humble I hope it rains on him for the good 👟🛹

I don't know, Lanie kills it singing this song, she is pretty kick ass also! Just like Steve Perry, no one will ever match him but the guy who took his place sounds REALLY CLOSE to the original!!
@@exposingscammers1atatime246 Is not only about the voice, Stevie is a genius singer AND songwriter, that's not easy to find.
I m in love
Stevie Nicks lyrics in these songs are unmatched. Fleetwood Mac to this day still gets me through drives on my job. I'm 45 yrs old and this music was before my time, but I'm a 2nd generation Fleetwood Mac fan through my mom. 😍😍😍😍
She didn't write the lyrics, she just sang them
No, she wrote them. Try checking before making untrue comments.
Absolutely
Their more to the story, they were togther as lover at before fleewood and even this song they are both writer , she talking about he say he was his freedom and they did broke up but still played on. And they was useing lyric to say how they feel. She talk about this try find it, in an interview.
Try checking out the band and guy singer Eric burden and the animals, he could sing sort bluest rock his own style and he had a deep voice that very unusual and they had so many hits he still alive and singing yet sane time as the Beatles He was one of kind too.
Crazy how one man riding a skateboard and drinking cranberry juice singlehandedly brought this song back to life and now it's top 10 in the US charts.

Stevie has a very unusual voice. I love Stevie Knicks. There was a guy on YT that said that Stevie was stuck up and non-approachable.
I am! Love this song!!
Fleetwood Mac never gets old. Still here listening in 2024🎉🎉💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
It's great to see so many young people being introduced to this sort of music. This song came out when I was 1 (I'm 44 now). Truly excellent songwriting and musicianship, and great to see a whole new generation appreciating it. Songs like WAP are fun and all, but this sort of music just has soul.
Totally agree, i absolutely adore them. Btw, I actually did a cover of this song and I'll be releasing a creative, artistic in honor to Fleetwood Mac.. it might be on my channel in two weeks or so.. but it's gonna be great. I really hope you are as excited as I am.. I'm sure you'll enjoy! My dad introduced me to Fleetwood Mac when I was only 7 years old and look at me now, a 20 yr old who's about to release a cool vid for them. FUN FACT: this song is dedicated to my ex, so in the video i wanna represent things that happened between my ex and i, maybe even show some things he gave to me. idk. it means a lot to me.
I'm glad you didn't bash WAP! And I agree this is just a beautiful song! Makes me always feel good about everything when I listen to it
today's music ain't got the same soul
I'm still in middle school but this song is soooooooooo good I love it her voice is so soft. I try to be as musically cultured as I can
Modern music is degenerate filth pushed by zionists. Music back in the 70s was less degenerate, but the seeds were still there.
I know everyone is commenting about the guy that lead them here, but this has actually given me an opportunity to be introduced to this group's absolutely breathtaking music. The 70s can never compare to any other decade...
This comment is underrated.
One word or number if you will
80s but good comment I agree 80s and 70s were great times for music
I whole heartedly agree. Frankly any music made from the 70-90's is easily better than any song now
Yup. Consumerism takes over everything.
One of the greatest bands of all time so many hit songs!
I think my favorite part of the song is when she sings 'It's only right that you should play the way you feel it'. Stevie Nicks sings it so beautifully. My favorite Fleetwood Mac song. I used to play this over and over when I was 11; it goes to show you great music transcends aĺl generations.

Never listened to Fleetwood Mac before, and discovered it because of the skating dude- I’m a new fan!
What a treat to be discovering Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks for the first time.
You have no idea how good they are.
People rave about Taylor Swift writing about her bad relationships.
Stevie Nicks wrote songs about how much of an asshole her boyfriend was, and made him stand next to her and play the guitar. It's some of their best work.
Might I suggest Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as your next venture.
such a clown you are
They are amazing. You should listen to “Rhiannon” and “Gypsy”. My personal favs.
Not sure how you have never listened to Fleetwood mac before. But the chain is their best song IMO
This song has stood the test of the time that it even sounds modern today and her voice is beyond good it’s perfect
