I was resistant to it because my mom wore one and I felt like it made me an Elderly Man but I've grown to love it, there's something oddly comforting about sleeping with it in, like a blanket for my mouth. And if I'm ever stressed out and want to grind or clench for the heckofit, the guard tanks that too. It can even be useful if you find yourself in a lot of pain, gives you something safe to bear down on.
