really enjoying these videos man, feels like a check in with a long distance (albeit parasocial) friend who just wants you to start a small business ya know?
I've found sardines and/or herring a nice tuna alternative to go on rice, but I know some people don't care for them. Plus if you get the ones with bones in, you get some good calcium (they're totally edible and soft/crumbly, not the kind you choke on). They're lower on the food chain, so they have less mercury in them compared to the bigger fish that eat them, like tuna. The only ones I don't like are called 'brisling' sardines. I don't know what the difference is, but they taste to me like the smell of a bait shop.
Thank you for these videos, I have really bad unmedicated ADHD. Watching these help me stay grounded to one task and not hopping around to different tasks before finishing up the last task
Just started this side channel and ngl its one of the only ways i can sit and draw without taking breaks (the exception is when the videos end lol) Very insightful ramblings. Bababooey
I try not to reflect too much on the wins. I try and set SMART goals. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely. I’ve been trying to instill it in my kids. My daughter really likes gymnastics and wants to do a pullover. I’m trying to get her to think of all the the things she needs to get good at before she can do it and set those as goals. I think setting smaller goals and achieving them gives those hits of dopamine and serotonin needed to build confidence.
I have been able to start cleaning my room after a couple of months of depression. One of the reasons that helped start is the lack of motivation I had to anything else simply because my room is dirty. Now that my room is almost clean, now I feel like I can walk outside, read a book at my desk, or simply relax.
I cleaned out a hoarder house, def not for the faint of heart. Cleaning out a clogged up toilet that hadn’t functioned in years was one of the nastiest thingsi’ve dealt with
It sure ain't for the faint of heart, I totally agree on that. I used to clean (hoarder) houses throughout college. On voluntary basis first, because... the smell... in these houses...
I think maybe cleaning moderately messy/various piles everywhere but not in the walkways houses for daily use or staging and cleaning after someone passes would be the best options for a regular segment. The emotional parts of hoarding can be intense and require a degree of separation to get through without some breakdowns I feel like idk
You're a brave man! I applaud you for touching the chock-full chunks filled drain with your bare hand. After all these years I still-cannot-do-that. My OCD kicks in with just the sight or thought of touching it 🤢
New dish washing routine: Open water. Pre-rinse dishes one at a time. Scrub them a little bit with soap and a scrubbing pad (preferably a scouring pad or use what you have) before setting them in the adjacent sink. Stack the dishes as you're going in a logical fashion to repeat the process when you reach the other sink (should be empty at this point). By the second go around, everything cakes off of the dishes ensuring the dishes are washed without wasting too much water (also, why are you caring about this when the waste you produce by keeping the water going is not comparable to one single golf course in one day?).
Omg, I feel the whole thing with the wet cat/dog food. Years ago ( I'm talking 8+ years), I had a cat and once he had leftover wet food in his dish that had sat for upwards to a week or more. Long story short, I saw maggots many times in his food, and now I cannot stand wet dog or cat food. It makes me gag
Here's a good question. Are we always supposed to wash the sink before filling it up with water and dish soap? Like, whats the study behind that lol. Because I do it but want to know if it has any real effect or not.
I always do it because in my mind its cleaning out the last dishes grossness before I start cleaning a new thing, I don't want any old stuff mixing with the new stuff haha....unless I did some a few hours ago so its still fresh-ish lol
It makes me so frustrated that most of the surfaces in that house are made of floor tiles and all those grooves on a countertop would be a pain to keep clean
Hey brother at 0:50 you said it was shameful for you because you live in a mess. And don't get me wrong that can get out of hand, but also in the sentence you said you fixated on a project. I'm kinda convinced us ADHD heads will kinda always be like that and it's ok. We go through our little phases where our energy needs to be prioritized and go to things only we think is important or will fuel our fire. sometimes it's insanely awesome cool shit, like making art, or writing etc. But every time you are allowed to put all that creative energy into something it wittles you down. When people don't do something they genuinely like it drains people, adhd'ers especially so. Never feel shame for putting your time into something YOU enjoy, my friend.
Yeah, tuna's no good for mercury, but apparently there are better tunas than others, and also there are other tinned fish that are pretty healthy for you, such as sardines.
Bruh watching people do chores is fucking so satisfying ngl
I love this format of you talking directly to the camera. Feels more real, personal and supporting

I'll have to try Sardines on rice, it sounds good.
@@biteofdog They're nice and oily, so they season the rice well. I also sometimes put them in the cooker from the start.
I don't like the texture of the bones, so I eat the fish and rice with crackers. Triscuits in particular are nice for masking the boneyness

Noah time has gotten me through going back to school after 5 years off. And we are taking a break at the same time! Neat

Portable dishwashers exist, just plug in and add water or a water hook up and bamn, washing dishes!

Forgot to mention that's very satisfying to see the sink being cleaned _first_ , before the dishes have a warm foamy bath.
Bro I feel the same way about chunky nasty dish water. Solidarity ✊️
You're really helping me feel like I'm more capable of stuff!
Yo I was looking forward to seeing u on BEs stream. I hope everything is good 😊

Dude your pull ups are getting better and better everytime I see them
Would thicker gloves help with the chunk water? Don't really need textual touching for washing dishes
Also, watched this whole cleaning my piles of stuff on my dresser and side table
i love chores and outdoor kitchens.
We'll get you a robbit dishwasher, I think there's one for rental from that movie Robots 😅
Was just looking for a can of tuna as you said it. Gonna make tuna mayonnaise with pasta and vegetables. Id recommend it
Being late to work paid off

Good question. Probably depends on how clean you keep your sink to begin with.
as you can see here things are quite looking delicious here... MHHMHHH
Egg rolls instead 😎. It’s the weekend. Imma not care for just a second.
It makes me so frustrated that most of the surfaces in that house are made of floor tiles and all those grooves on a countertop would be a pain to keep clean
Looks like some tasty culinary adventures took place.....🤔
