I finaly got mine yesterday :-) So im happy for this video. Not that im going to make any changes (yet) after the many hedaches with all the mouses i got, im happy i got a thing now that works perfect straight out of the box. So thanks for the great video!
Thanks for another great video and sorry to hear of your woes with the iPhone video transfer. It is however much appreciated and thanks for your time and great effort. Hope to see you again soon in another great show and have a great week pal :)
Just received the Thrustmaster Kit so I can use the rudder pedals with the Velocity One. I hooked everything up and the rudder pedals work but not the brake function. Also, the joystick and throttle off to the side interfered with the operation of the velocity one. Any fix for these problems that you know of?Thanks.
@@Pilot0083 Yes I'm using Xbox but I'm going to return the kit. I should have taken your advice and just wait for the actual Turtle Beach rudder pedals. I texted and emailed them last week and both sources said no pedals on the horizon. They probably are working on them bit I'm not in the loop. Thanks for getting back.
Hi can you say me how to used the atc? I tried to respond to the atc but show me to press the option 1 2… And I don’t have numbers to press. In a keyboard is possible but in Xbox I don’t know how to do
i just got one of these and am new to "profiles" - like i get what they do, but i dont understand why does the V1 have 3 profiles built in to the hardware that you select on the device. and then in MSFS there are the same profiles and more? is the hardware supposed to change the MSFS profile? are they linked? or what is the function of these?
@@Pilot0083 yes.. in the UK we can only buy the xbox thrustmaster kit wich includes the HOTAS? I only want the pedals. BuT I was wondering what the rudder padels are like on the yoke, if they're OK I wouldn't need to buy the pedals? Cheers! S
Plus when I put a flight plan on the world won't stop spinning. Cause I would like to add other airports and cities. But the dam thing world keeps spinning until I unplug the velocity one controller than it goes to normal add the plan than plug it back in control velocity one sometimes don't work. Yes I downloaded the version for it. But still nothing working the right way...
Nice Video have you messed with the sensitivity yet to better your controls? How are the throttle controls for 2 engine/4 engine? I have heard that they are loose. Once they go on sale again for the masses I will order mine, or I might get the 787 thrustmaster yoke system.
I am returning mine. The velocity One is at best, a beta product and at worse, a prototype. The panel lights not working is only the tip of the iceberg and, I suspect, it will need a Microsoft update to get them working which, could easily take months or, it may not be implemented at all. No feedback, no tension, jerky yoke… the list goes on. Better off spending a little more and wait for the Xbox honeycomb set to be released.
@@Pilot0083 issue is with this yoke, the quality of the assembly! there is is a twist in the middle of the yoke combined with a strong plastic torsion on Yoke horns. Basically, if you fly against the wind, you play around the center on the roll and pitch and the whole body is twisting which doesn't look promising for the future. With Honeycomb, itis much more solid and the Thrustmaster yoke looks even more solid as they claim being fully metal inside

Just curious: I just got my Velocity One setup today. Are those labels reusable?
Quick question, is it wired and if it is how long is the wire?

No just use the ones on the sim . Those are more for sensitivity and stuff . But all can be adjusted in the sim

why does your thumbnail say 4k, but the highest res you can choose is 1080p?

Is there a way to assign free look to it? I usually use a controller LB then move about the cockpit that way
I’m sure you can bind a button on the yoke to use along with the sticks like you do with the controller
