Recently bought the Logitech Rudder Pedals, Turtle Beach Flight Yoke & Throttle Quadrant and found out my Quest 2 allows for an immersive VR experience. So crazy the immersion with VR in a plane. I do plan to use Vatsim soon. Even went as far to purchase a ground school training to get more familiar (and to also snag PPL at some point too). Crazy fun what you can do in sims and am very excited about FS 2024 coming soon too!

@ophirn.m7817 it's IVAO and it's free; ppl just do the ATC or Ground or both.. there's also a map to check the ppl using IVAO as ATC or pilots (search for IVAO Webeye)
Stream decks give lots of control options but if you want to up the immersion level you need Air Manager. Imagine a touch screen up top with an A320 overhead. Layout and operation matches the real thing and very versatile for use with other aircraft.
Amazing setup TFD !! I've spent so much money on various racing rigs, racing wheels, flight control systems etc and still don't have a proper flight sim setup, partly due to lack of room to have it permanently set up and partly due to my stupidity by not putting any thought in. You're missing one of the cheaper and absolutely game changing things - a head tracker! Highly recommend tobii eye tracker 5 as the head tracking is 3d and super smooth. Once you start flying vfr with it and leaning into instruments you'll never be able to fly without it.

how can they be 4k - 1400p monitors, seen that on the graphic? they're a 4k monitor but you run them in 1440p (to ease the stress on the gpu?) cheers 👍👍

(here is something you might want to check out..I remember a movie called "Brainstorm" starring Christopher Walken 1982..and he worked in a lab that had a VR headset that put you in a VR world and they had a flight sim program that put you in the control of a real fighter jet..yep this was waaaay ahead of its time...cya
u should really get a virpil base or the moza force feedback base, cause those are a lot better then the entry level winwing ursa sticks. Especcially because you already put so much money into your setup.
Setting up triple monitors isnt even that bad. I use triples, setting them up in msfs takes like 2 minutes at most, other than that you can just plug them into your pc and go to the settings to make sure its all lining up
FlightDoc my question for you is what is the best Flight simulator set up for a beginner? I also have the fcu from wingwings. How are the APPR and LOC buttons on yours when they are illuminated? On mine it lights up very minimally, a little less at the top near the letters PP (appr) and O (LOC), so very little difference but if you look more closely you can see it a little.
Flight Panels seems to run regular sales….up to 50% off. I have a total of 13 stream decks, and almost every product that Flight Panels has available. They do a great job, but it can get costly. So keep an eye out for buy one get one, or similar.
You said you use the bottom stream deck for ECAM and other "utility" things. Would you mind sharing what youve done and setup on there. Also what "profile" did you get as I bought one but it doesnt have the over head like youve got.
Question. How do i make it so i only see the airplane glass looking out because i have all the instruments at home? For example these guys who have home cockpits make it so they cannot see the instruments in game because they have it in irl. How do i make it so i only see out the glass???
MSFS is a pain to sort out, such that if you arent angle 90 degrees with each monitor, that ‘across cockpit’ angle ends up looking a bit odd, especially on a smaller monitor Unlike in sim racing with proper FOV, MSFS falls short sadly
Could I get the full modlist? I'm assuming to get the game looking and functioning this way you need to modelmatch + have a bunch of payware + a compilation of mods?
Amazing setup but why the low in the flight stick? I have a Virpil Warbrd, VKB Gunfighter, and a Thrustmaster T16000m and the higher end Warbrd and Gunfighter make my flight sim so much better.

Very good point I’m using the next level racing triple monitor mount + quad overhead mount I essentially used double sided tape to stick the streamdecks up there and it works well for now :)
Great set-up but I am just itching to angle those left and right monitors closer toward the pilot position. It would improve immersion further to match the physical angle closer to the in-game perspective.
Who are you talking to at ATC ? Is someone physically working ATC as part of the game or an add-on ? Maybe people training for ATC experience/careers ?

man anytime i go back to my triples from VR, i feel like Im just playing a "game", with VR, i am IN the "game". No triple/monitor set up in my opinion can match it. And a good VR set is like $300 and your set (hp reverb g2 for example)
