    Expecting delivery very soon. I have never enjoyed a game as much as I have playing MFS and the Velocity One is going to take it to a whole new level. Thanks for a great review. 👍🏼

    I am thinking about this or the Honeycomb combined with a Tobii head/eye tracker.
    So big thanks for the overview!

    Thanks for the review, I'm using the basic Logitech Yoke and Throttle Quadrant and am already looking for something better. And right off the bat, not needing rudder pedals would be a convenience. FYI on the Logitech yoke, the detent position for the power lever is idle, pulling it all the way down gets you going in reverse.

    I’ve just spent the weekend flying with this yoke on a Series X - pretty happy with it and for the price.
    I’m using both Keyboard and Mouse with Velocity One (have customised the controls instead of using the out of box settings), and it’s definitely a better experience with the ability to use the Keyboard shortcuts alongside the yoke and quadrant buttons.

    Amazing review. Just one question. Is the yoke itself really wobbly and sensitive to touches? I would prefer it to be a bit stiff.

    Instead of investing tons of money in flight sim accessories, I shall buy an used real Piper Cherokee. 🤣

    In this video did you say you had an XBox series X or S? Nice review and lighting! I used to light video.

    Hello Brodie. Would you recommend MS Flight Sim and this controller for someone who's thinking of getting into flying? Also, I'm sure this isn't a perfect training set-up for someone working on getting their hours in, but can you see it as a reasonably decent supplementary training system? ...just to get a few extra reps that don't officially count towards actual training.

      @brodiebrazil  2 года назад +6

      I definitely would recommend it, because: you might initially invest in something cheaper that will suffice at first... until you realize that you want more/better. might as well save yourself a second purchase. So long as you are actually interested, and willing to commit to using it... you won't regret it. As for hours... there's the loggable kind (actual flight training) but obviously while flight sim hours don't "count" they actually do towards your experience/understanding of piloting an airplane. granted simulation is only simulation, and there are some parts quite inaccurate to the real thing... however... there's certainly enough to warrant your time with this "game" because it does provide some beginning pilots a HUGE advantage to stick & rudder skills during their private pilot training. ive seen that countless times, firsthand. good luck!

      Good catch! Signal is going thru all the dbx’s there… but they are not connected to the recording. Just for show at this point

    The purpose of the detent is for reverse thrusters, but this system is plauged with the levers being loosey goosey, a deal breaker for me, youd be much better off with a honeycomb setup, their throttle quadrant includes all of this plus a warning panel, landing gear switch, an autopilot multipanel on top, different levers for commericial aircraft, and switches for all lights and starting on the yoke, plus the overall build quality is much better. After a bunch of tests and reviews even real pilots will tell you the honeycomb system is excellent build quality and feel pretty much like an airplane, and a new airplane at that. And overall, its only 100$ more than this system. Its a deal considering the autopilot mulitpanel is 169$ on its own, the lights switch is another 100$, yet honeycomb includes it all.

      My levers are not lose at all, this has a sip panel. You can program any button as a landing gear switch, plus all the light gear switches. It also has all the levers for for any aircraft. Has a great trim wheel as well, one of the best available. There are some new updates coming with su10 also.

    Is yoke detachable from the throttles?
