    I am a VF1 user (XBox) and am (still) astounded with the added feel and immersion it brings.
    I am pleased to hear the SIP functionality is imminent on XBox.
    My minor gripes/changes are:
    Chronometer does not appear to show correct times (or does it?? - a brief video maybe...?).
    I would love the quadrant button lights to be press on/off, as I use them for various lights and never know which are on/off.

    For the front display what is the use of having features that don't exist on the fullscale aircraft your attempting to learn to fly with precision. There is double sided tape you can put on the bottom of the Throtalqyaderant so as to place it on the left side of the yoke to simulate as fling as the First officer/copilot or as an Instructor pilot. It took me about 6 hours with an instructor/pilot in the left seat to get get comfortable in the right seat after 800 + hrs in the left seat.

  • @richavery66
    @richavery66 2 года назад +3

    I'm still holding out for the Honeycomb Alpha XPC & Bravo. At the risk of repeating myself from the comments in one of your other videos, I would be more tempted by the Velocity One if: The throttle levers had a tension adjustment (as you said in the video); there were six throttle levers instead of four (to accommodate flying twin GA aircraft and giving the possibility of having levers for spoilers and flaps on 4-engine airliners); the GA push/pull levers were lockable (as you also pointed out in this video); and the Xbox buttons were more subtle on the yoke (for example, using greyscale lettering rather than the primary colours), which would make it seem less 'gamey'.

    • @Huddison
      @Huddison  2 года назад +1

      Fair points. If you have the budget for it, the upcoming XPC is a great option. Have you pre-ordered it?

    • @richavery66

      @@Huddison I haven't yet. The only UK shops I've seen so far have it listed as available at the end of October/beginning of November (is that when you're expecting yours?), so I'm in no hurry to preorder it yet. I'm probably going to get the Bravo sometime soon though, as my Logitech quadrant is almost dead now and I remembered your thoughts on its cost rising when a lot of people buying an XPC yoke will want a Brave to go with it.
