Hello everyone. I just got a Turtle Beach "VelocityOne Figlhstick" to play MSFS 2024 on my Xbox Series X. I can't figure out how to enable the little touchpad on the joystick and use it as a mouse. The touchpad would work fine, from RUclips videos, on PC (by moving the mouse cursor on the screen), but not on Xbox. Some videos I've seen online show it was possible in MSFS 2020. (Additional info: the firmware on the joystick is 1.1.6). It would be handy for flying and you have to go into cursor mode to change anything on the EFB, but there's no way. Has anyone done this?

Don't waste your $$$ on captainsim products. Yeah, they LOOK amazing, but they fly like crap.

I just bought this plane. I'm on an xbox series x. Visually it looks awesome, but it flies like a smooth turd. Avionics inaccurately modeled, many things don't work, buggy autopilot. Why would they release it like this?

In 2024 it's BROKEN. bindings don't work right and it causes conflicts and won't recognize haptic feedback or analogue trim. H1 seems to scan but not bind in game

So I’m discovering this probably late but I actually had a question. I’ve done frequent uninstall and I still have the issue and I never lost my flight hours. I think because when you delete the saved data, it removes your progress. So basically you’re saying, in order to increase efficiency, delete the saved data and also lose my progress?

My 360 and Xbox One have never been cleaned and they've never had any overheating problems. My Series X is 2 years old and it gets hot playing an Xbox One or 360 BC game. Series X games are even worse. I took an air compressor to both ends to blow out any dust, not much came out. But it still gets really hot. I'll probably need to get the proper tools to take it apart and clean it better.

I am good with the AP side of things, flight from EGNX to EGXC, but when I get about 5-10NM out from EGXC and initiate the ILS tasks, it just doesn’t work, slowly flies around in a circle. I have tried 3 times and the same thing happens. Initially I thought there was a conflict with the onboard Garmina and the pre-flight setup, so I just selected fly from EGNX with no rest and then setup using the Garmin, buts till the same issue. After I select AWLS, Nav Mode VOR 1 and then App, I do not get the display change you talk about. ALT/RK is also off at this point.

When using Say Intentions AI as my ATC, it will ask me to cycle my transponder and re-enter it. Is there a way to keep the transponder on the same code so I won't lose communications with ATC?

It would have been easier if MSFS would just let you do a flight plan with MSFS and it just shows up in the ATR that would be much easier..

hi, I know this vid is a few years old but i got the turtle beach yoke now and i tried your gear trick and i cannot believe it worked! when im using the turtle beach yoke, everytime i try to assign something it goes wrong, I'll figure it out eventually but i just want to thank you for letting us know how that is done, it works a treat, i used buttons before so maybe ive learned something that i can take into the next assignment 😀 thanks again

I get black screens on the 787 most frequently. Also on 787 if i make a flight plan it just dessappears either when spawned or just mid flight

Let’s say you’re making a quick decision and the approach isn’t programmed. Can you just tune to the ILS frequency and force the autopilot / Flight Director to nav using the LOC instead of GPS? You can do that easily on GA airplanes without worrying about timing button presses so carefully
