Okay pilot I wanted to give you an update because I downloaded it. So for starters everything works fine and I didn't get any black screens and I'm up in the air at 15000 feet cruising above Colorado right now. Now you know me and I like to clean my system and wipe my hard drive clean about every 3 months so probably 4 times a year. When I read that last night that you were having issues I figured it was time to do it before I even tried installing it. So I wiped a clean, And out of 824 DLC's, I only put about 1/3 back which is still quite a bit. I have fast internet at about 1.2 GB. So I just went to bed last night and let it download. When I got up this morning it was finished and I proceeded to download the FSR 500. I've been in the air for about 20 minutes now and I haven't seen any issues. This leads me to believe that there may be something conflicting on your xbox because I'm not having any issues. You may have to do what I did and I know a lot of people don't like doing it because their internet speeds aren't super fast but it's definitely necessary and I swear by doing this and I've been doing it for nearly 3 years now. I delete everything I have and start Fresh about every 90 days. And it works perfectly but I can start to see problems setting in at around the 90 day mark because we pick up corruption as we go. A lot of these pilots out there aren't doing this to their xbox and I can't stress it enough. Just wipe it clean and set what you want to download and go to sleep and when you get up in the morning it will be done. Anyway sorry this comment is so long but I just wanted to let you know that I'm loving the aircraft and I'm hoping I will see you in the air soon!
Hey buddy , I just did a full reinstall last week. I removed many addons I don’t use including all big airports . Last night I messed around with removing some other things like runway lights addon and stuff , turned all traffic off to zero . Uninstalled plane , reinstalled plane and still same results . Something might be very well conflicting, maybe an other plane . ATM though I still haven’t isolated the problem. But that being said we shouldn’t have to run our sim bare bones to fly a plane . That to me is just irritating. I know it’s not the devs fault . But I hope they can resolve this in some way bc I wanna fly it
@@Pilot0083 I totally get that and it seems like ever since the sim came out on console everybody has different results and it's very frustrating. Now I have all my extras on like enhanced airport graphics, the new runway lights, glass jetways, Static ground vehicles, static airport aircraft, And all the ones I normally use. I'm even using that traffic in the sky with all the balloons and helicopters and hang gliders and everything else. I have all of my traffic including road traffic set to 75%. I hope you find what's conflicting with it because it can be extremely irritating! And you're right we shouldn't have to do this each time. Good luck pilot because I would love to see you in the air!

I have just installed this aircraft in my Xbox series X and it is the worst thing I have installed since I started with MSFS. I purchased the Xbox exclusively for MSFS and everything was running perfectly fine until last night when I installed this so wanted FSR500. The G1000Nxi screen just goes black in the middle of the flight (eveery flight). The Approach Mode doesn't work at all. The flight goes like hiccups, if you will. It seems that it is sucking more RAM than the console can afford. I have installed only one airport and two airplanes in my Xbox and everything was running smoothly until now. I hope that uninstalling this aircraft my Xbox will be back to business. And I really hope that the people from FSReborn come up with an update to solve these problems because the aircraft is really nice and that it's a pity this is happening.
@@Pilot0083 I saw your video "Troubleshooting Xbox CTDs & Black Screens | MSFS2020 Fix" and I followed your tips and guess what? My Xbox is awesome now. No more black screens. No more crashes. I deleted everything I didn't use 500 mb and over from the contents, except US add ons and US updates. I also minimized traffic and some other stuff you mentioned. I strongly suggest anybody with those issues to watch your video and follow the steps. By the way, the FSR500 is the best aircraft in my hangar now.Unfortunately the problem lies on the Xbox limitations. If Microsoft comes up with a more capable Xbox, I would buy it no matter how much it costs. Thank you.
I think you might have a confliction somewhere, check your latest updates maybe. I recently did a full reinstall and didn't bother with world updates, also I didn't reinstall any airports over 1gb of data. Only had one card at the initial load up which isn't unusual for a new plane. It's currently running smoothly.
@@Pilot0083 I tried it last night after the update, stuttered on multiplayer. The cloud effects are great but may have impacted performance, I'm not sure, may even have been as I was flying from Elstree, London area can sometimes have issues.
I caved in and bought this the other day. It’s fantastic. I’ve only had a couple of black screen events and one CTD. The plane is absolutely amazing. I deleted //42 Flow which I think is the key to decent performance for me. I have to say since uninstalling Flow I haven’t really missed it (apart from the multiplayer tags).
Would you recommend buying it or maybe waiting a little while? I wish it was optimized as it looks amazing. Also what are the flow icons you are using on console please?
It has not given me any CTDs (yet) but I get a lot of black screens. I have managed to complete a few 30-45min flights with no issues. Flying it ATM is a gamble.
Thank you for doing that video and that is a huge let down. I will still be purchasing this plane tomorrow and see how it works. I'm not expecting anything different than what you experienced sadly. I will let you know tomorrow.
FSReborn are very excited to bring this high-fidelity aircraft to the MSFS Xbox community with the v1.011 release. The FSR500 does have many custom features and testing has shown that it places demands on Xbox Series-S platforms in particular that can, without performance optimisation, lead to ‘Avionics Screen Blackouts’ (ABO). This is due to memory limitations inherent in this particular platform and how scenery developers are implementing LODs (‘Levels of Detail’) in custom sceneries. The problem seems to occur even more with World Update 15 (Nordics and Greenland) as several of the ‘handcrafted’ custom airports included have not been optomised for performance. from their manual, try getting rid of greenland/nordics
I'm not having any issues with it and I put it through the test for the last hour at different airports. It's a gamble because like anything on xbox it sometimes works for some people and sometimes it doesn't. But just FYI...I cleaned my entire xbox last night. I wiped everything clean. 824 DLC's. I let about 1/3 of them reinstall throughout the night and then this morning everything was nice and clean free of corruption and I downloaded the aircraft and I'm not having any issues with it. I can't say whether you will or not so I can't recommend it but I will tell you it is a fantastic aircraft and have been enjoying it immensely over the last hour!
Actually I took the time to join the discord of the developers and follow some steps ! I did 3 flight ILS RNAV AND VISUAL! It was a BLAST!!!!!!! Not a single crash, black screen or else actually everything went perfect . So yes I understand your review and agreed BUT then while talking with them on the discord follow the steps they did put on the manual…. The PLANE WORKS PERFECTLY! 10000% WORTH TO BUY ITS A BLAST
@@Pilot0083 yes. I specifically chose the light versions. Thanks to you the sim is running pretty good on my Xbox. But this plane CTD’s. I emailed them and asked for some advice or help but haven’t heard back and it’s been more than a week. I re- installed but the same thing happened. And this isn’t at a payware airport. I fly the Kodiak a lot and don’t have any problems with it. I don’t know.

FSR500....one of the best aircrafts (xbox). bought typhoon eu fighter while its discounted but after i experienced that crap of autopilot i regret buying it. great aircraft so far .... xbox captains deserved more, a lot more performance than what happened untill now. its sad.i have bought a lot and supported this game for a long time, im still supporting it, i love it, thats why i take the time writing things like that, but in between it is frustration and a piece of anger. what i have already deleted and reinstalled. checked all hints what youtobe offers... the performance problems keep coming back. do you ever call a spade a spade, name serious problems xbox captains have? i mean the problems that actually exist with many? this has nothing to do with badmouthing a game if so many people experience issues..Good flight ;) oh got it, you had ctd too. after the fsr-fix with lower resoluted liveries its lot better.Thank you for mentioning it

This is not acceptable, is everything to do with the developer definitively the plane is not ready to release on xbox they should refund everybody. Asp 1/5 ⭐️
I totally agree. It’s all ok when they are taking our money. If this doesn’t work they need to refund people and pull it from the Marketplace. It matters not whether it’s a sim or add on issue, facts are, it doesn’t work, end of.
I buy quite a few dlc every month and get refused refunds on everything. You can say whatever reason they won't listen. As long as their wallets get filled they are happy.

Microsoft Flight Simulator in infinite time more complex and demand simulator, its a miracle have Microsoft Flight Simulator running on xbox special the 300 dollar xbox series s. I have 13hrs in it so far I haven’t had those issues thankfully.
Please do an update video of what has been dumbed down on xbox to work.

I have done the same and it works better but still not reliable for me . I could have something conflicting with it more research will be needed
