I have the commanche, and I'm giving this a close look. What I'm waiting for is Blackbird's Beechbarron Duke, Turbo Prop. Real Air Simulations was the original developer for FSX and P3D. They are no longer in business. Well done with this video.
Awesome video. What’s your opinion on on this vs the TBM 850 from black square? I’m undecided between which one to get! I don’t love the G1000 & glass cockpits but this does look pretty fun
Thanks for the question ... they are both awesome planes . They do have pros and cons to both , not necessarily the plane itself but the addons. So the fsr500 love the tablet it is amazing and I love the integration of the failure system in the tablet . I also like the maintenance menu in the tablet it's very realistic to what you need to do for maintenance. Flight model is great . Tbm850 flight model great . I don't like the failure integration as much due to them using the radar bendix to reset failures also there is no way to do maintenance on the plane Or see how many hours have been put on the components. But I also love steam gauges and this has a lot of them and work fantastic. You can also fly higher and faster than the fsr500. As for visuals I am a vr guy and I feel in vr the fsr500 is better for vfr and better for visuals out of the cockpit. The tbm has a tall dash and cuts off some views. So if you try and compare flight model to flight model meaning air handling . It's hard to choose because they are both great on that respect. So it comes down to the realism factor and fsr500 beats the tbm due to the amazing tablet. They both have tons of failures . But the tbm you can't turn them off (at least from what I know) and the fsr you can. The g1000 has been custom modeled from a real fsr500. The tbm also has the ability to switch from the 750 the 530 and standard radios. The fsr does not. I have them both and love them it's hard to decide but make a pro and con list and see which one wins. Also my 2 cents get the one that you love for instrumentation after all you will be looking at that a lot.

They could make realism a step higher.....If we ruin the engine and crash, we should have to pay for another plane :) I am enjoying this plane so much. It's my favorite as of now for a small plane while I take breaks from the airliners.
I guess it depends on how much texture it renders at certain distances like the closer the more detailed and the farther away less details kinda like lod
I think there is confusion here. The landing elevation is detected by the Garmin based on the destination airport nav data and is already displayed in the "Cabin Press" section on the MFD. The minimum setting on the PFD is used only for that: minimums (either baro or radio, depending on the approach). It should not overwrite the LFE in any case. If it does, it's a bug. Simple as that.
@gaivy9159 yes this does have vnav . The vision jet is also nice. Some people have complained about the flight model for the fsr not being like the real plane but I have no reference for that . I have both aircraft and like both of them . I will say I love the tablet I the fsr and the maintenance features . It also had failures if wanted . The vision does not
I think the pressurisation system has a few bugs. Firstly on landing the differential pressure shows 2 PSI which should not be the case (I have the landing altitude set correctly). Secondly when descending the cabin altitude is very wrong, most of the time it shows something like -1000 feet.
I know that during the stream. The developer said that on landing the cabin should have a slight pressure to it. I'm not sure if that's correct in the real aircraft. I'm just going based upon what he said..
@@2020fsers That is true, but it should not be that high, I have noticed that in some RUclips videos it works perfectly and in some cases it is too high. And the cabin altitude should definitely not be -1000 feet. Other than that, it is a very good aeroplane.
Hey guys, I updated my fsr500 last night, I also had a mandatory game update today. Ever since, all 3 of my screen just stay black, even the tablet. Me and a couple friends have this issue now. Does anyone know how to fix it? (Xbox)

I'm not sure that the extreme details (LEDs on wing tips nav. lights) is a good use of CPU or RAM. (IMHO) Thanks for the video.

Do you have gs traffic or any other traffic injection system that works without too much gpu stain?
I use fsltl sometimes but I had to lower all the settings due to the fps hit.

Looks like its missing textures on the cockpit dashboard appearing white!
I think that's the way it's modeled . I'm not sure if all the liveries are the same .
