- Here is the unboxing of the new Slim PS Vita 2000 white. This PS Vita came out yesterday October 10 in Japan, I got it today October 11th. There is no date for USA release yet. I give my first impressions of this new PS Vita Slim. I will be uploading more videos tomorrow, because I have to work now. I hope you guys like the video.

Got mine for my 10th birthday in 2014, sold it to get a switch but eventually decided to get it back, best decision ive made as I play on it more than the switch due to the smaller size for portability and the fact I play PS4, great video, made me feel very nostalgic, Even though it was only 6 year ago :)

Buttons feels good. I noticed that they do less clicking sound, specially the shoulder buttons. The plastic feel good, and not slippy.
Hey, I'm wondering if you buy a ps vita slim, can you download games on the memory card? I have downloaded most of my games, so that would be a problem if I can't.

When playing with handhelds I like more weight. To me it makes it feel more durable
Honestly, the design of the new Vita has a PSP feel to it, making it feel old.
I still love how sleek and nice my original Vita looks, not to forget that nice OLED screen.

Thanks for the information. A question I would love to know about the FINAL FANTASY X HD version of the Vita that came out in Japan. If I bought the package, I know the game will be in Japanese but can I use the Vita console in Europe and change the language to English and buy an English version of FFX HD. I have googled but can't get a concrete answer. Thanks.

not this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if next year they do announce a 3k model.

Oh ok thanks but alot of good games are coming out this year. So is it a good time to buy the 2K? FIFA 15 would be awesome to play on the vita and also Remote Playing the new games that is coming out for the PS4 this year.

Hey so my button interface is off. The X button is where you would normally press to select something but on my new version the cirlce button Is the one. Anyway I can change that?

Yo Marc, Can you please do a video comparison of the battery between the 2. Like leave it running a game and timing the two and seeing what time they deplete when fully charged?

Hi Marc, I enjoy watching your videos, and I was wondering which model you prefer, the 1000 or the 2000?
The new PSVita 2000 does not have double the battery life. It barely has a battery extra. I know because I did test it a couple times and I could sometime even barely notice the difference.

Well hopefuly the 3000 or whatever has the design of the 2000 but with all old materials of the first one such as the screen.

Getting the PCH-2000 when it comes to the USA :D I don't mind the slightly downgraded display and really appreciate the lighter form factor and increased battery life!

Can i use my US PS Network account on the PS Vita Slim(japan version)?
Problem with the old Vita was that while the screen looked very nice, the glass covered the entirety of the front of the console. One drop on the side could mean sending your Vita on a trip to Sony. I'm getting this model (FFX edition) but I will admit I prefer the old design more.

i have some questions please, im a proud owner of a white old ps vita, and i might switch to this one for few reasons, but i wann abe sure i'm right first.
1 st question , now that a micro usb is on it, can it charge on a mac or pc while ON ( the old oen can only charge if completly shut down )
2nd. the 1 gb memory is integrated or is it a memory card ??
3rd did u make real commparason with sound , is it really louder on this model ?
4th it seems easier to open the latch for cartdrige? right?

Is it just me or are the thumb sticks on the 2000 longer? (As in more distance from the vita) Which would be good because you could have more precision on fps games.
