Liked the back, some bigger buttons of this new version but the rectangle screen just looked a little weird. Price wise it's definitely more awesome though. :)
Yup you sure can!! But just know that if you import a vita from Japan, the O and X buttons will be swapped. Not physically but interms of software, you will need to get used to pressing O for okay and X for cancel.
I'm glad they ditched the OLED screen in favour of a far more long lasting LCD screen! OLED screens start to fail after a short time because of those pesky blue OLED's a fundamental flaw in the technology! Its made with organic components! its bound to be more prone to failure than something primarily composed of silicon.
tagithere I know that OLED screens do look wonderful when they are new but that does come at a price! the price being a short lifespan of the screen! its all down to the components that make up the blue OLED pixels! an LCD screen could last for years and years! organic components are still more volatile and although the lifespan is much better than early OLED screens I have seen nothing to suggest that the inherent flaws of OLED have been overcome.
The psvita slim is not a replacement for the psvita its for ppl with tight pockets and its cheaper to make i really didnt think they even needed to make it slimmer
You can use your US account, like OOOB said, but it's a little tedious if you ever wanna use a different account with it.Regardless they're not region locked so you can play any region games on that Vita, and use any account with any Vita. The only thing is, say you have a US account and you import a JP game. You cannot use the online functions of that game (With the exception of some, like PDf's edit play 'catalog') on a different region account.
Remember watching this in 2014 excited to get my vita for my birthday. How time flies. Miss those days so much.
