I can't say I'm a fan of fromsoft stance of nerfing everything that is remotely fun, while simultaneously introducing both the hardest bosses and shittiest weapons and spells. We can't have fun fighting the bosses because they are crazy overtuned, we can't have fun using the new toys because they are crazy undertuned, and if there's a single weapon/spell that is good it gets slapped to the ground on the next patch. AC6 wasn't this bad with the balancing, and that one has a dedicated leaderboard with cosmetic rewards. If they pull this same shit again with their next game I'm getting it for free from unreputable sites.

@@Ghorda9honestly, without the busted AoW, they're still surprisingly capable weapons. They're pure elemental AoE weapons that can obscure a huge area and deal moderate poise/stance damage. So... Yeah. Not busted, but they're fun to use on either softswap or offhand.

@@GM-xk1nwthe only bug was the accidental double damage glitch. Realistically you can pile all that together to make a bigger, more focused explosion if you center the cast in one spot. They removed the actual bug along with a feature that made sense because people whined loud enough to be heard over the quiet majority.

The fight with rakshasa was my biggest disappointment in the whole dlc The first time i went in and died i got super hyped and thought i go in with a build aimed around blocking and countering with my sword And then realized she just spams her sweep attack
The poison bottle being deadly poison is so cool because it adds one more viable poison weapon for people who don’t wanna just do another arcane bleed build. Throw poison moth flight on a milady or bring along the bloom pole blade for double DOT and that’s basically the best non bleed arcane build you can get.
Iirc, oil tear and bloodsucking are same amount of damage increase, if you go pure fire. That's because the oil tear is severely nerfed, compared to other sources of oil.

I know a lot of people are saying that the perfume bottles/Rolling Sparks was "nerfed"; but that isn't really true? Rolling Sparks was bugged, resulting in doing way more damage than it was supposed to. So it was fixed. That isn't a nerf.

At least Jori can be trivialized by repeatedly backstabbing him and you can just run past Sennesax. The Leda fight is just straight trash. I think fromsoft should just stop bothering with NPC boss fights. They're just not fun at all

Melanias great rune made this build unkillable before nerf because all damage taken would instantly heal.

With the right buffs I was able to almost 1 shot fire giant. Miss my Jeremy fragrance build so much😔.
Don't know if you realise, but ritual sword talisman is useless if you use blood-sucking tear since you don't have max HP for very long
