I absolutely love my Vita. I got the phat, OLED version and I can't be happy enough. I am a PS+ subscriber since the beginning, so I always took the time to put all the Vita games on my download list because I knew some day I would buy one. With that in mind, I can highly recommend you guys to buy a Vita as long as you have all the PS+ free games on your download list. Now, if you don't... well, I don't think it's a good idea, sincerely.
Just got my slim last night. I love it! looks and plays great! Some people complain about the screen being LCD. NO REASON! If you are thinking about getting it, do it. Don't hesitate! I wish I got it sooner. First thing I did was (REMOTE PLAY)ED MGS5 Phantom Pain. Worked perfectly.

yeah i got the blue won pre-ordered from Gamestop. Although i do have 2 slims from Japan I picked up when I was there. White/Lime Green and Grey/Black.
The start and select buttons look much more accessible in the new model. I hate on the older model the start/select are small and sunken in making them hard to press. Looking forward to getting the new aqua model in about two weeks from gamestop.

The biggest changes compared to the fat version is built-in 1Gb of memory, normal micro-usb cable, and is slimer and lighter of course :) These are good changes, even with this LCD screen, it's most energy efficient maybe.
Lol i still use my vita to this day, i need a new one because the battery in mine is faulty. (I have gen 1 of the vita). I can't go anywhere without the plug so i need another one. I like this style, looks lighter and more modern, only thing I'm not gogo about is the black frame around the screen. Japanese ver, which cost as much as a PS4 like the white and green,blue, and pink have a white frame around the screen. don't understand why the plain white has that black one, but thank you for the review. Sooo made me want to get this version.

I have just bought my first two games and awaiting delivery of them both LEGO Games. In 🌏 Australia we do not have a great selection of games.
There's a reason why japanese use the circle as ok, and thats because they use circle (maru) as confirmation and cross (batsu) as denial, imagine when people cross their arms to say no. Also in nintendo consoles the letters are inverted because japanese read from right to left, so they confirm with the first latter A, located in the same place as Circle in sony consoles.
i might bye me a ps vita from japan now just because of the X and O swap. I grew up with FF7 and O was the main action button... I really miss that... :(

I am getting my ps vita b4 the end of the year. Hopefully the orange version. I used to have a psp fat. I loved it. After alot of reading around I would probably like the vita alot as well. The only downside is the memory card. I dont want to buy the expensive memory card. Would the 1Gb be enough for saving games? Also are you able to put psp iso in the internal memory?
It was ashame that Sony remove the light of the ps logo instead they put it on the top near the power button. Still im gonna buy a slim vita soon because my oled version is worn out.
Hi mate, what games were you playing in this video? I particularly like the look of the second one. I still love the vita to this day and play it non-stop! Always considered purchasing the newer model in the white finish for the exact same reason (charger) but still unsure as i love the screen of my original model. After having this one for a few years now would you recommend switching to this model?
I bought my vita around 6 months ago as i am not interested in smart phone games and living in Japan i spend a lot of time on the train. Persona 4 golden alone made my purchase worth it. Psvita is perfect for jrpgs and indie games that come free with psplus.
If you customize your button assignments in accessibility and make “x” to “o” it Carey’s over to the game as well Just disable custom button assignments and when you log in to your United States PlayStation account and play your games on the PlayStation Vita all buttons in your game will function correctly like a US Model PlayStation Vita , you will just only have to Use the “o” button to confirm in the PlayStation vita Apps and settings menus that are not within the game , only the PlayStation Vita System Apps not the game so just leave it as default . Because if you customize your buttons it will be a headache to remember “x” is “o” when playing a game when you have been playing the way for 10 +years
They should have made it with black buttons and black touch pad as well. That would have looked nicer to me. I have the all black slim model and I like it, but damn this system needs games badly. I have been using my vita recently, but only with remote play for fallout 4.
