Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about the Blender screw modifier in the comments below!
Excuse me can you pls teach me how to: add vertices and edges? I already learned how to add faces. Can you give me step-by-step instructions like if I were a dummy bc I'm new at this and it's quite difficult hehe.
hey for some reason i can't modify or interact with faces that are being Screwed i can only modify the original Verts.
absolutely great tutorial. Yesterday I wasted hours of my time trying to find a way to make the Spiral feature of Blender relate to real world dimensions. I realized the Screw Modifier would be much more accurate. You provided useful information I'll be able to apply using the Screw Modifier. You should be writing the Blender Manual which is as poor as Blender is excellent. Thanks!
Good one, nicely explained.
Perfect for the cables I need to make.
I'd forgotten you can also use it for simple spinning - wineglasses etc.
Many Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
saved my day, I was working for a helical subtract for my project, and this is all I wanted to know, thank a ton mate.
Glad I could help
Save me so much time generate bowls and wine glasses! And potential suspension when I finally level up to modelling a car. Thanks!
Just what I was looking for, thanks!👍😀
all your videos are very interesting and well explained thanks for your time
Glad you like them!
exactly what i need, thank you!
Dude, you are a genius, luv you
Cool .....this is definitely hints for efficient works
Everyday I wake up and wonder what direction I’m going to get screwed around. Thanks for the tutorials. I’ve watched a bunch
LOL - I see what you did there
Great vid!
Hi this is very nice information
Ayo thanks, you really helped me making this Bandage-type-of-a-thing for my Sword handle model. Really a big help from you dude.
Awesome - glad it helped!
Ooh, I’m making something like that too.
Nice job team
very usefull, im using this to make some coils for a robot. Thanks a lot
Thanks, the large majority seem to fail to point out that you need to move the circle in editmode in order to adjust the inner diameter of the spring.
I made some lightbulbs recently and wish I had thought of using a screw modifier for a coil, probably going to make more lightbulbs now lol.
Great tutorial, great voice!
Glad you think so!
@@TheCGEssentials YOu do have a wonder voice texture, also calms down our intensity of search and holds our attention to the video, unlike other videos, where few people have the good stuf, but their voice quality is so bad that I dont like seeing their videos.
Greate tutorials!
Glad you think so!
amazing!!!
Thank you!!
Thank you
Welcome!
THANKS
Thak you!
Thanks
ty
thank u~~
When i switched from maya to blender I used to use something like this. I think it was called helix? All you could do with it was make screw threads really. There was another tool called "spin" that does the other half of what this tool does in blender. So maya needed two tools to get this similar result
thanks
very useful vivdeo
When I use the screw modifier it doesn’t actually add any extra wireframe or verticies. Help please?
yes bro: I'm trying to get familiar with Blender 2.936. The newest version. I can not seem to locate the screw modifier. Is it supposed to be in the modifier tab, or is it a modifier add on.? That I half to addon myself. Please write back soon and tell me. Excellent tutorials by the way. I learn so m
I was trying to create cream on top of cupcake with this modifier but I wanted radius go narrow on top.
broooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, how are you even able to create a new object without the modifier automaticly beeing applied?
finally screw modifier is very interesting !
It's definitely interesting :)
indeed!
Love this guy, HA-WHATZUP guyyys?
Lol
i do not have the single vertex option right off. Is that an add-on?
I think it's in the "extra shapes" add-on built in to Blender
@@TheCGEssentials I cant find single vertex anywhere, I even have the add-on installed that you mentioned.
can anyone tell me? where is the weld modifier in blender 3.0 pls help me i am new in blender.
Sort of like a SketchUp follow-me tool but with some extra horsepower.
I'd say yes when it comes to lathing (rotationally extruding) shapes. Not so much for linear extrusions, but there are some other ways to do that :)
Hell yeah I'm the first to like!
Well thank you very much!
One modifier i have a lot of problem with... skin modifier.
ar you singel?
Geez, it's a lathe tool. I've been too lazy to find out what it did until now
stop screwing with us finally...
