    Thanks so much for all the amazing comments on this tutorial! A lot of people have been asking about the sound design at 04:45. So here are some FAQ:
    Q: Where do you get your sound effects?
    A: I use a sound effects library called Soundly. It's a freemium library with a super efficient way of adding sounds. For this I used the Pro version, which significantly increases the size of the library.
    Q: Where do you do the sound design?
    A: Davinci Resolve 17!
    Q: Can you do a sound design tutorial?
    A: I already did! The entire workflow using Soundly with Davinci Resolve 17 is covered in this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/jjBNjvNIlQ4/видео.html
    Thanks for watching!

    this channel is 10/10, easy to follow, chill, informative, no bullshit, feels like you're having fun & i have fun following along rather than feeling like i'm in school or something like with most other channels, you just throw the info out there for us & give us the walkthrough of the process & it feels really nice with the rendered out cutscenes you make, awesome channel, feels high effort & all of the videos are very indepth & cool & you have your own style it's been a lot of fun watching the videos & learning something new every now and then & just relaxing watching them even if i'm not learning, 10000/10 love it, hope you keep this up, out of all the blender tutorial channels i've watched you're probably in the top 3 or top 2 imo

    • @liveen
      @liveen 2 года назад +3

      @@lucmermans37 My good dear sir, this is the music industry, literally anything ever is commercial and no matter what you make, someone out there fucking loves that shit. Best advice for me (assuming you're less experienced than me, probably wrong tho but i do want to say this anyways) is to say fuck commercial, fuck rules, fuck everything. Make what you make naturally, whatever you yourself enjoy producing the most. If you pursue music its not because of the money, it's because it's your passion, so make sure you enjoy every step of it ;)
      not that its wrong for you to focus on the commercial aspect tho, it's only advice and not meant to be orders so honestly you can do whatever you want O:)

    I got addicted to physics simulations in 3ds max years ago, I loved mixing motion capture data with zero gravity ropes, and real flow for liquid simulations, it always felt like magic. Blender looks like it has a much better system than the old one in max, and it's great that it all seems in the program instead of having to mix various plugins. I tried a bit with particle systems with complex behaviours to make lots of fish and things like that but loved the idea of creating a whole ecosystem of animals/insects /robots/whatever and running a giant calculation to see how everything unfolds. Like the Lord of the rings software. I guess you're basically just making a computer game at that point. But the unknown outcome and some beautiful rendering could make a great vr experience for people to relax inside watching all the madness unfold around them.

    I only ever played around with blender for a few weeks, self taught, a few years ago and found it frustrating to work with and sort of gave up. I had no experience with art, animation, computer design, etc, it was more just for fun, but it was anything but. I never referenced any videos or tutorials, and was sort of just playing around with settings and reading the descriptions/tooltips, but that didn't get me very far. I found that the best way to stop rigid bodies moving before their meant to is to enable animated and set a key frame to disable the animated tickbox, and u can use a key bind, (can’t remember exactly) to link animation data between all the objects so that all the animation changes are linked, also if u want to copy rigid bodies data u can select the objects, f3 then type rigid body and select copy from active
