In this tutorial we'll use Blender to create a handwritten word and turn it into a physics simulation using the cloth modifier. We'll also place it on a video background with real footage and render it with a glowing effect using Eevee! Stick around for the end to see some additional use cases!

Not sure if it's just me but it also feels refreshing to get a Blender tutorial that isn't completely reliant on complex geo node set ups and a degree in algebra (along with a slightly patronising tone... ahem).

This reminds me of a project I made where I was looking for a way to write cursive in a video but couldn't find a solution like yours. So what I came up with was writing some cursive writing using a particle generator that moves along a path and very high density glowing particles that then exploded outwards once complete. It was quite the fun effect to tinker with.
