Learn something new everyday. V8 input=no jingle 4cyl=jingle. I knew they were smaller but the wrench trick saves from possibly ruining my digital calipers somewhere.

Videos not boring we appreciate the info I'm doing this swap now and there are alot of details. I'll be watching more to learn more I dont have a mc cloud clutch though I'm using lux it's the rock auto brand. I'm not sure how it work my car will just be a daily until I get comfortable with the power its just a rebuild like 306 stuff
LUK is just a company that makes clutches. Like Valeo. What a lotta folks dont know these companys like this build many clutches for many different big brand shelf stuff. Youd be suprised.

Im going to be honest, thats not something that will probably happen. However its not much different than a V8 setup just the bell and pilot bearing.
Can I use a A9l computer in a factory 88' aod 8lf without burning the trace when swapping to t5? Or does that only pertain to a9p cars? (89-92)

Is it necessary to swap to a 5 speed wiring harness on the body as well as the transmission harness? I have a auto 4 cylder that I put put a t5 in but haven't wired it yet.
No not the body. You only need the trans harness that connects to it under drivers seat/at the kick panel.

So neo when I do my t5 swap I can use my a9l computer if I swap the o2 harness? Next question is could I use the a9p computer if I already swapped the 02 harness or will it still need re pinning?
Whatever ECu you use follows the 02 harness. So if you use a9P you use auto pinned even if its a t5 swap.

@@Neomustangs ok cool. I just swapped my 87 GT over to T5 Using all the parts from a 89 GT and the Mini starter I was using with the AOD is binding up now on the T5 set up. I’ve got it seated properly and everything. I will double check everything again tho

What do you mean by re pin the 02 harness when switching t5 computer?
The o2 harness is pinned different for the signal return Aod vs T5
I have donor car for the t5. First time doing the swap. Should i just use the O2 harness from the donor car?
How can I find a T5 part number if the ID tag is missing?
U dont really. Just hope it has the features i just gave you. The top plate with NSS, the timken counter shaft front bearing race and the 17mm trick. Only other way is to see the counter shaft part number.
