Foxbody 5 Speed Swap - The Pedal Assembly Install -TIPS05E13

- In this video I focus on the 5 Speed Pedal Assembly replacement in a 93 Mustang that was Automatic. This is probably the hardest part of the 5
speed swap process. Once the pedals are done you can be rest assured that the rest is a pretty straight forward procedure. I'll focus on the rest of
the process once it's time to install the motor & trasmission into the car

Great video brother 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Great video 👍, collecting parts for my 5 speed swap right now, very thorough pedal swap video, thanks
Even with All your Knowledge of earlier parts selling & your Experiences Abroad, your last two vids of of DYI,... Is Where You Shine the Best!!
Thank You for the Time & Effort you put into making & editing these videos for us.
Thank you, it's much appreciated
Why are removing the booster, not necessary to change the pedel hanger..
My 93 white coupe I have now. It was a auto and I had to swap it over as well but I don't remember switching the cable but that was 10 years ago at least. I did that and had to drill out the firewall bolt holes on one side with a unibit for the sn95 brake booster to fit for my 03 cobra front brake conversion and a sn95 real 1995 Cobra disc rear end that I installed as well. Cool detail video for anyone that needs to swap it.
Great instructional video. Good attention to detail. Much appreciated... 💯👊🏾
This video is awesome thank you… my 4cyl mustang has the ignition button! 1990
Really cool one Chris, I am digging the blue interior, just like it different than the always black or grey interior. This car is going turn out great like all the other ones you have done.
I agree the blue does look very sharp.
Love to see on how to get that pin Stripe off safely.
The reason for the button under the column so that the key won't turn back all the way is so that if you turn the key off in an emergency while driving you don't lock the wheel, but I think the auto mustangs had a cable to keep from turning it back while in any other gear but park.
Great video!! 👍
My 4cly car actually has the ignition lock
The interior in mine is also blue. I have to redo the seats and carpet though and when I do that im converting mine to a T5. Im tired of a4lds. Mine dont have air bags either.
I just did this. Removed the steering column. Didn't touch the master cylinder or the booster.
Wait what? My 1990 lx 4 cylinder 5 speed coupe has that switch button ......
I always thought that you had to press the speedo cable *towards the cluster and then pull it out simultaneously?! Which is counter-intuitive to say the least. I think I just got my cable removed completely by dumb luck/on accident. lolol
Chris
I pulled my column. I removed the shifter. It attached to the column. What do you do with the connector that hooks to the shifter at the column? I believe it’s a 3 wire connector that’s black. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.
great vid, super informative. Too bad you didn't just remove the seat to let the steering column drop completely as you stated.
Column was one bolt, seat was 4 lol
What’s the reason for taking out the booster?
4 cylinders have a smaller one.. needs (should) be upgraded
Can I use my aod computer (a9p) when swapping to t5? Or will I have to swap to a a9l computer as well?
You can keep the A9P
After 26 years of messing with these cars, swapping pedal assemblies is probably the worst job there is. I’d rather do a heater core!
Ya it's a brutal job
V8s don't have that botton either.
