Today, he could just said: "no, I won't". But, instead, he played again as the wingman. He gets what he deserves.
Henry whatzal ‘not fair’ is taking it a bit far, they’re just trying to secure the championship for Mercedes as well as Lewis. If Valtteri had the points Lewis has im sure they would let him go first. Sometimes you just have to be a good teammate and thats all.

The points for the WCC would've been 43 no matter which driver was first and the 7 point difference was absolutely insignificant given a 40-point lead for Lewis in the WDC. It was a dick move by Toto.
Saddest part that kindness of Bottas is being used against him! Bottas needs to change that.

I think it's in his contract, I wouldn't be surprised if they agreed to that before signing him after what happened with rosberg. He knows if he refuses he would be out of that seat.

I'm a Hamilton fan and I don't like it, either. I was almost hoping that Lewis would go against the team at the end of the race to give Bottas P1. But on the other hand, it's ruthless decisions like this that gave Schumacher his 7 championships.

Schumacher and Hakkinen celebrated gleefully at the 1994 San Marino podium even though two drivers died during that weekend.

i know lewis is better driver than bottas. but how can he take win away from bottas when he is leading by 40 points in championship . bottas face at the end was just sad , felt really bad from him . yeah it was team orders but let the man win a race he really had a tough season. i am now relly getting annoyed whenever i see toto wolffs face .

It seems that every time Bottas has a chance of winning this year, he seems to fall victim to bad luck or team orders, who doesn't feel sorry for Valtteri this season?
Yes I do - to a degree. He was very unlucky today and in Baku, but generally this season Hamilton has simply outpaced and outraced him. How many times other than today has he fallen victim to team orders - I bet it's far less often than say, Schumacher and Barrichello? Mercedes have generally been pretty spare with team orders over the years compared to Ferrari, they certainly didn't apply much during the Hamilton v Rosberg years. But yes, I do feel sorry for Bottas a bit this season :)

Bottas is a brilliant driver. But his position at Mercedes is to secure points. While for Hamilton is to win the championship. Since Bottas is only chasing kimi and Hamilton wants to come in first it was a Good move and Bottas is a total boss for letting Hamilton through. @@itsmeayansheikh Forgive me for being a year late, but it's not the same at all. Perez was nowhere that particular race. Even without DRS, Verstappen was so much quicker. Bottas was faster than Hamilton throughout the weekend at this GP.
