I feel like Crofty strictly commentates on the race, and if I only had audio I would have no idea what's going on -- it's less engaging and fluid.
Actually Verstappen did start well, when Crofty announced it, but in the middle part of the run upto turn 1, the RB's rears started losing traction which led to Bottas getting ahead. You can see it in the onboard footage. Crofty makes a fair share of mistakes, but this was not one of them. 😇
At least he has got energy and makes the race look exciting. In my country, the commentators spend 90% of the time chatting and cracking lame jokes and forget there is a race going on
@@waldovilla6869 Stroll is a point ahead for sure and the latest incidents didn't help him either. But, Checo is a better driver and is willing to make a clear statement before leaving.
Albon had a transmission issue which is why was slow in Q3 and then had to get it changed and got a penalty. Ended up second last because of carlos' crash. Had a terrible strategy with the timings of the stops and the tyre choice. He did fine to get back into 10th.
Fyi: Leclerc is the reason Stroll crashed. The incident is VERY similar to the Hamilton-Albon incident from this year's Austrian Grand Prix. But for some reason, Leclerc wasn't penalised.
The rule clearly states practice starts (yes with an 's') to be after the pit exit lights on the right side of the pit exit lane. You don't need a law degree to see that Hamilton was absolutely correct in his actions! FIA is totally at fault. Time to hire professionals for the task of interpreting the rules and decision making instead of gathering a group of 'has-been hangers-on' to judge etc.

Just absolutely inexcusable. And those saying "the car was developed for Max" should just shut it cos Gasly is in a worse car and still outperforms him 🤦♂️
Datey Mintah I don’t think Albon is doing particularly a bad job with the car. Max is just extracting the most out of it. It’s indeed really ridiculous, that people claim “the car is only built for Max.” No they got the same package. Max just extracts the most out of it by working with his engineers fine tuning the setup, even through qualifying. Max is really carying the team with his skills as well. Albon is just hanging on trying the best he can. If they give him a chance I think he’ll start to fit in the team better, and start really developing and understanding the car. But I don’t feel like Red Bull is going to be that patient. I think Gasly could’ve done the same as Albon if they gave him the time to learn and develop, but he had a bad aditude towards the team. Which really didn’t boost the morale.
@@nicksarts8925 They should just sign the Perez Already. Not a single downside of signing him. I never watched any completely dry races at Sochi but the racing honestly looked fun, DRS was assisting passes into braking zones instead of having them entirely on the straight, and drivers sometimes even raced through several corners. Mercedes F1 performance This year's championship as it stands: 100% point-scoring finishes 90% podium finishes 80% race win rate 70% double podium finishes 30% 1-2 finishes Where does it rank in 'Most dominant Mercedes year'?
I’d argue that 2019 was more dominant than many people realized. There were some superb races in the latter half of the season but Mercedes still won 15 of the 21 races last year
@@awoo56 Alot of people are misusing the word dominance. Actually Verstappen did start well, when Crofty announced it, but in the middle part of the run upto turn 1, the RB's rears started losing traction which led to Bottas getting ahead. You can see it in the onboard footage. Crofty makes a fair share of mistakes, but this was not one of them. 😇

They have always said they are much less likely to give a penalty for causing a collision in the opening lap.
Hamilton shouldn’t have been penalised.

It’s indeed really ridiculous, that people claim “the car is only built for Max.”
No they got the same package.
